New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has conducted the Cluster 1 of IM Ahmedabad Summer Placements 2023 on October 31, 2023. The first cohort was held in hybrid mode for Postgraduate Program in Management (PGP) for the class of 2025
With 22 offers, Boston Consulting Group was the top recruiter for IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placements 2023. The recruiters participated in both online and offline placements and offered around 60 opportunities to students who joined cluster 1 of the summer placement drive.
As per IIM Ahmedabad, offers were made to students from various domains, such as investment banking and markets, management consulting, niche consulting, advisory consulting, cards and financial advisory and private equity, venture capital and asset management.
Informing about the placement session, IIM Ahmedabad officials said, "We witnessed the participation of new firms like Vector Consulting Group and Transformation X in the Summer internship process. Clusters 2 and 3 will be held on November 03 and November 06 respectively”.
Along with Boston Consulting Group, offers were made by consulting recruiters including Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, Accenture Strategy, Alvarez & Marsal, Arthur D Little, Auctus Advisors, Kepler Cannon, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, KPMG, Ernst & Young, and Strategy&.
Companies participating in the investment banking and markets cohort included Avendus Capital, Bank of America, Citibank, Morgan Stanley, Estee Advisors, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and HSBC.
With 9 offers, Goldman Sachs was the largest recruiter in the investment banking and markets industry. In the PE and VC domain, Westbridge, I-squared Capital, RTP Global, Multiples, Faering Capital, and Piramal Alternatives were among the top recruiters.
