IIIT-NR Student Bags Record-Breaking INR 85 Lakh Annual Salary Package; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Rashi Bagga, a BTech student at the International Institute of Information Technology Naya Raipur (IIIT-NR), achieved a remarkable milestone earlier this year by securing a job offer with an astounding annual package of INR 85 lakh. 

This achievement of Rashi Bagga marks the highest salary package ever received by a student at IIIT-Naya Raipur in the placements of 2023.

Reaping the Rewards of Previous Placement Achievements of IIIT-NR 

Despite already having a promising job offer from another company, Bagga's determination to explore the job market further paid off. She continued to participate in interviews, leading to her remarkable success in securing this record-setting offer, the IIIT-NR media coordinator revealed. 

Before attaining this remarkable milestone, Rashi Bagga had gained experience as an SDE Intern at Intuit in Bengaluru and had worked as a Software Developer Intern at Amazon. Since July 2023, she has been actively contributing her skills as a Product Security Engineer at Atlassian.

Success Stories at IIIT-NR

IIIT-Naya Raipur has a history of remarkable success stories in terms of IIIT NR Placements. Chinky Karda, a fellow IIIT-NR student, held the previous record, securing a package of INR 57 lakh per annum from the same company in the previous year. Yogesh Kumar also achieved a commendable package of INR 56 lakh per annum for a Software Development role with a multinational company.

Earlier, in 2020, another IIIT-NR student, Ravi Kushashwa, was offered an astounding deal of INR 1 crore per annum by a major multinational company, although he was unable to accept it due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Maintaining its streak of excellence, IIIT-NR achieved a 100 percent placement rate for the fifth consecutive year. With Rashi Bagga's placement setting a new benchmark, the institute's average Cost To Company (CTC) for this year's batch has been revised to INR 16.5 lakh per annum, with a median CTC of INR 13.6 lakh per annum.
