The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for fresh admissions and re-registration for the July 2025 session. Prospective students now have until September 30, 2025, to apply for all Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programs.
This extension offers a final opportunity for students who missed earlier deadlines to enrol or re-register for the IGNOU. This extension does not apply to semester-based or certificate programs. Candidates are advised to complete the registration process well before the new deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
IGNOU July 2025 Admission: Important Details
- Eligible Programs: All undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses offered in ODL and online modes.
- Application Portal: Candidates must complete their registration and application process online via the official IGNOU admission portal ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
- Re-registration: Students seeking re-registration for the next year/semester must also apply by September 30, 2025. A late fee of INR 200 applies for re-registration.
