COMEDK released the Round 1 engineering cutoff ranks on July 27 2026. Allotted candidates must pay fees between July 28 and 31 and report to colleges by August 3 at 12 noon.
The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the Round 1 engineering cutoff ranks on the official portal at comedk.org. The notification was published on July 27, 2026. It applies to the COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026 counselling.
Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 must now pay the admission fee. The payment window opens on July 28 and closes on July 31, 2026. College reporting must be completed by August 3, 2026, at 12 noon.
COMEDK has also published the vacant seats list after Round 1 allotment. This helps candidates track branches and colleges still open for later rounds. Both documents are hosted on the official website.

What the Round 1 Cutoff Covers
The document lists the closing ranks for engineering programmes across participating colleges. It covers all categories under the COMEDK counselling scheme. High demand branches include Computer Science, AI and ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Information Science.

How to Complete Fee Payment and College Reporting?
Allotted candidates must log in to the COMEDK counselling portal first. The admission fee has to be paid online within the given window. After payment, the candidate must report to the allotted college in person.
Reporting requires original documents and the printed allotment letter. The college verifies the documents before confirming the admission. Missing the reporting deadline will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
COMEDK has warned that candidates who left the Round 1 choice filling form blank will not be considered for further rounds. Confirming or freezing the allotted seat on time is now critical for staying in the counselling.
