The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the MAH BBA CET CAP 2026 schedule. It covers the Centralised Admission Process for 2026. The complete timeline is now available on the official portal.

The schedule includes registration, merit list publication, four seat allotment rounds, institute reporting, institute-level admissions, and admission closure dates. Candidates can plan their next steps using the timeline available at bba2026.mahacet.org.in.

MAH BBA CET stands for the Maharashtra BBA Common Entrance Test. CAP is the counselling process conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. A total of four CAP rounds will be conducted between August 5 and September 8, 2026.

MAH BBA CET CAP 2026 Merit List and Registration Dates

The Cell has confirmed the registration, merit list, document verification, and grievance submission timeline. Candidates will first be able to check their rank in the provisional merit list. A short grievance window will allow them to report any errors in their details or merit position.

MAH BBA CET CAP 2026 Round-Wise Seat Allotment Schedule

The Cell will conduct four CAP rounds through August and September. Each round will include option form filling, seat allotment, seat acceptance, and institute reporting. All important round-wise dates are provided below.

Seat acceptance will close at 3 PM on the final day of every acceptance window. Institute reporting will close at 5 PM on the same day.

CAP Rounds II, III, and IV will begin after the publication of fresh vacant seat lists.

Institute-Level Admission Dates

Seats remaining vacant after the CAP rounds will be transferred to the institute-level admission round. Participating colleges will fill these seats directly based on the applicable merit list.

How to Fill CAP Option Forms and Confirm Seats?

The option form is one of the most important steps in every CAP round. Candidates must list their preferred colleges and courses in the correct order of priority. The Cell will allot seats based on the candidate’s merit rank, category, seat availability, and submitted preferences.

• Log in at bba2026.mahacet.org.in using your application number and login credentials.
• Open the CAP option form.
• Add your preferred colleges and courses.
• Arrange the choices from the most preferred to the least preferred.
• Lock and submit the option form before the round deadline.
• Check the seat allotment result on the scheduled date.
• Accept the allotted seat online and report to the allotted college within the given deadline.

After the allotment, candidates must confirm their seats online within the specified time. This process is called self-confirmation of the allotted seat on the CAP portal.

Candidates who fail to complete the self-confirmation process within the deadline will automatically lose the allotted seat.

What Happens If a Candidate Skips a Round?

A candidate can participate in the next CAP round even after skipping an earlier round. However, an allotted seat that is not accepted within the deadline will be forfeited.

Candidates who receive an upgraded seat in a subsequent round cannot return to their previously allotted seat.

What to Keep Ready for CAP Reporting?

Candidates reporting to an allotted college must carry their original documents, photocopies, seat acceptance letter, and allotment letter. They must also pay the required college fee within the reporting deadline.

Keep the following documents ready before each CAP round:

• MAH BBA CET 2026 scorecard and admit card
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
• Class 10 and Class 12 passing certificates
• School leaving certificate or transfer certificate
• Domicile certificate, if applicable
• Category certificate, if applicable
• Aadhaar card
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Seat acceptance letter
• Allotment letter downloaded from the CAP portal

Candidates should carefully follow all CAP deadlines, as failure to complete seat acceptance, self-confirmation, fee payment, or institute reporting on time may result in the cancellation of admission.
