Odisha SAMS PG Final Merit List 2026 Out at pg.samsodisha.gov.in; Check How to Lock Choices

The Students Academic Management System (SAMS) Odisha has released the merit list. The Common Postgraduate Entrance Test (CPET) 2026 final merit list is now live. Candidates can view it at pg.samsodisha.gov.in for admission to the 2026–27 academic session.

Choice filling and locking for eligible candidates began on July 27, 2026, at 3:00 pm. Students can now select their preferred colleges and postgraduate subjects online.

The subject-wise state-wide merit list was published on July 24, 2026. It includes all candidates who qualified for CPET 2026. Admission is offered to two-year postgraduate courses in Odisha. The current admission cycle covers more than 114 government and government-aided institutions. Over 50 postgraduate subjects are available for the 2026–27 session.

Who Is Eligible to Fill Choices?

Only candidates whose names appear in the CPET 2026 final merit list may proceed with the choice-filling process. The list has been prepared subject-wise and state-wise by SAMS Odisha.

The released merit list also includes the candidates’ reservation category and category rank. Students must carefully check their eligibility status before starting the choice-filling process.

How to Check the Odisha CPET 2026 Merit List?

1. Visit the official portal at pg.samsodisha.gov.in.
2. Click on the CPET 2026 Final Merit List link available on the home page.
3. Select your chosen subject from the drop-down menu.
4. Search for your name, roll number, and rank in the merit list.
5. Download or print the merit list for future reference.

How to Lock Choices on the SAMS Portal?

The choice-filling process is completely online through the SAMS portal. There is no physical reporting or centralised counselling venue at this stage.

1. Log in to pg.samsodisha.gov.in using your CPET credentials.
2. Open the Choice Filling and Locking dashboard on the applicant panel.
3. Add colleges and subjects in the order of your preference.
4. Review every selected choice carefully before final submission.
5. Submit and lock your choices before the portal deadline closes.
