IFMR GSB at Krea University has opened admissions for its PhD (Doctorate) programmes for the 2026 academic session. The application window is currently active, and the last date to apply is March 31, 2026.
The university has released the updated fee structure for both full-time and part-time PhD programmes, with total academic fees ranging between ₹48,500 and ₹3.31 lakh. Eligible candidates must apply online and submit all required documents through the admissions portal.

Eligibility Criteria
IFMR GSB offers both a full-time residential PhD and a part-time PhD programme. For the full-time PhD, applicants must be below 30 years of age and have a minimum of 60% marks in their undergraduate degree, along with one of the following qualifications, a Master’s degree or PG diploma with 55% marks, a five-year integrated or dual degree with 55% marks, or a professional qualification such as ACA, AICWAI, or ACSI.
Candidates must also hold a valid score in CAT, CMAT, GATE, GMAT, GRE, NET JRF, NMAT or XAT, or clear the university’s entrance test. Final-year postgraduate students are also eligible to apply.
For the part-time PhD, candidates must have an MBA degree with at least 55% marks and five years of work experience after completing MBA. Degrees earned through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are considered valid as per UGC policy.

The total academic fee for the IFMR GSB PhD programme ranges between ₹48,500 and ₹3.31 lakh, depending on the programme type and duration. This amount covers the core academic components, while hostel and dining charges will be applied separately based on the rates announced at the time of admission. These charges are subject to revision, as the university updates them annually.
Candidates must apply online through the IFMR GSB admissions portal and upload Class 10, 12, UG and PG documents, a CV, valid test scores, and a 1,000–1,500 word Statement of Purpose explaining their research area.
Part-time applicants must submit work experience proof, and two recommendation letters should be emailed directly by recommenders. The selection process includes application screening, a written entrance exam for candidates without valid test scores, and a personal interview.
Final admission is based on a combined evaluation of academics, test performance, and interview scores.
