HSTES 2024: Polytechnic Institutes in Haryana Announce Manual Counseling Schedule 2024 for Diploma Pharmacy Admissions

HSTES has announced the Manual Counseling Schedule for the Diploma Pharmacy Course. The counseling process will be held on October 30, 2024.

The Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana, has issued guidelines for institute-level manual counseling for the Diploma Pharmacy course for the academic year 2024-25. The counseling aims to fill vacant seats across government and government-aided polytechnic institutes after centralized counseling rounds are completed.

  • Date of Vacant Seat List Publication: October 28, 2024
  • Merit Declaration for Manual Counseling: October 29, 2024
  • Counseling for All Categories: October 30, 2024
  • Unreserved Category Counseling: November 4, 2024

The manual counselling process will allow students to compete for seats based on fresh merit lists, independently prepared by each institute. Notably, rankings from the centralized HSTES counselling will not apply to this round (Important Instructions).

Categories Covered in Counselling:

  • TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) Scheme
  • EWS (Economically Weaker Sections)
  • HARIHAR Policy (for homeless, abandoned, or surrendered children)
  • MAR Category (for specific institutions like Government Polytechnic, Uttawar)

Institutes are required to upload their merit lists and counseling schedules on their websites and provide direct contacts for admission-related inquiries ​(Important Instructions). Additionally, all admissions must be registered online via the HSTES portal by the cut-off dates specified in the Diploma Prospectus –2024.

Special Instructions for Institutes:

  • All candidates participating in the manual counseling must submit their documents, including category certificates, income proof, and PPP ID.
  • Before admitting students through the manual round, institutes must verify that candidates have canceled any previously allocated seats.
  • Institutions are mandated to ensure transparency by issuing provisional admission slips and maintaining records of all related documents and communications​(Important Instructions).
