Document verification is set for October 28, 2024, at 10:30 AM, followed by personal interviews starting at 11:30 AM. Candidates can download the PDF from the official website.

All candidates who have completed the application form and paid the non-refundable fee of ₹1,500 are eligible to attend the document verification and personal interviews during the second round of admissions for the Nurse Practitioner Critical Care Program (CET Code 116).

Eligibility Criteria for Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care

  1. The candidate must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with any State Nursing Registration Council.
  2. The minimum educational requirements include:
    • B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
    • Minimum one year of work experience prior to or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (preferably in Critical Care Units).
    • Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing (preferably in Critical Care Units) is desirable.

Admission Criteria

  • Merit for admission will be based on the interview (25% weightage) and marks obtained in the last qualifying examination (75% weightage).

Required Documents for Verification

All candidates must bring the following documents for verification and merit list preparation:

  • A Bank Draft of ₹97,000 (including ₹96,000 for the Part Academic Fee and ₹1,000 for the non-refundable counseling participation fee) in favor of the Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi. Candidates should write their name, date of admission, phone number, address, mobile number, name of the program, and CET Roll Number on the back of the Bank Draft.
  • Four passport-sized photographs.
  • CET-2024 Admit Card (original).
  • Filled Admission Verification Form as per Appendix 6 of Part F of the Admission Brochure 2024-25.
  • Filled Preference Sheet as per Appendix 11A of Part F of the Admission Brochure 2024-25.
  • Proof of Date of Birth: Secondary School Mark-sheet & Certificate (Original and Photocopy).
  • Mark-sheets/Certificates of Qualifying Examination: Original certificates/mark-sheets for all year-wise or semester-wise exams, along with photocopies.
  • For Distance/Open Learning Candidates: Documentary evidence regarding the location of the study center (i.e., study center proof and a certificate from the university certifying the location of the study center).
  • Physical Fitness Certificate: A Medical Certificate indicating fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner as per the format provided in the Admission Brochure 2024-25 (Appendix 5).
  • Result Awaited Candidates: Candidates seeking admission as result awaited must submit Appendix 4 of Part F of the Admission Brochure 2024-25.
  • Reserved Category Certificate: Candidates seeking admission under reserved categories must bring the entitled supporting certificate in their name. Those claiming a seat reserved for DSC/DST/DOBC categories must have passed their qualifying exam from a Delhi school/college and hold SC/ST/OBC certificates issued by the competent authority of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
  • Conduct and Character Certificate: An original certificate from the Head of the Institution where the qualifying examination was passed or from a Gazetted Officer, not older than six months.

Key Points for Reserved Category Candidates

Reserved category candidates who fail to bring the required documents or whose documents are not in order will forfeit their right to the reserved category claimed and will automatically be converted to the General Category as per university rules. All reservation category candidates seeking admission in SC/ST/DEF/PWD/OBC/EWS/KM must bring their reservation certificate (the caste/category certificate should be in the name of the candidate himself/herself, not in favor of parents/guardians).
