Rajasthan NEET UG Counseling 2024: Stray Vacancy Round Announced for MBBS and BDS Seats

The NEET UG Medical & Dental Admission/Counseling Board, Rajasthan, has issued a notification for the stray vacancy round of counseling for MBBS and BDS courses. This round will provide a final opportunity for candidates to secure seats in medical and dental colleges across the state.

Key Dates and Schedule:

• Online Registration and Fee Payment: October 24 to October 26, 2024 (until 6:00 PM)
• Vacant Seat Matrix Announcement: October 25, 2024
• Choice Filling: October 25 to October 27, 2024 (auto-locking at 11:45 PM on October 27)
• Document Verification for Reserved Categories (PwD, NRI, Defence/PM): October 28, 2024, at SMS Medical College, Jaipur
• Stray Vacancy Allotment Publication: October 30, 2024
• Fee Payment and Reporting at Allotted Colleges: October 30 to November 5, 2024

Eligibility for Participation:

• Candidates who registered earlier but did not receive an allotment in any of the previous three rounds.
• Those who exited without forfeiture of their security deposit or resigned after Round 1.
• Candidates who were not allotted or upgraded seats in Round 3 despite re-registering.
• New or re-registered candidates who meet eligibility criteria.

Candidates holding seats from Round 3 or who joined other colleges through national-level counseling will not be eligible to participate in the stray vacancy round​.

Security Deposit and Fees:

• MBBS Seats (Govt./Govt. Society Medical Colleges): ₹50,000 for UR/EWS/Reserved categories, ₹2,00,000 for management seats.
• Private MBBS Colleges and NRI Quota: ₹5,00,000
• BDS Courses: ₹10,000 for government and private dental colleges.

Applicants must deposit the security amount online during the registration period to confirm their participation. Candidates who fail to complete the payment or document submission process will be disqualified from this round​.

Reporting and Document Submission:

Selected candidates must report to their allotted colleges between November 4 and 5, 2024 with the required original documents, allotment letters, and bonds as specified in the information booklet.

The counseling board has also warned that candidates who fail to join their allotted seats will be barred from participating in state-level counseling for the next academic year, and their security deposit will be forfeited.

Important Notes:

• Fresh choice filling is mandatory for this round; previous round choices will not be considered.
