HPU Final Semester Exam 2020 Might Be Delayed Additionally, Exams Unlikely to Begin from 15th July

Himachal Pradesh University is unlikely to hold the pending Final Semester Exams 2020. As per some sources, the university might delay the conduct of final semester exams 2020 to July-end or towards the 1st week of August.

According to the reports, Himachal Pradesh University will hold the pending final semester exams 2020 for nearly 40,000 students.

The fresh guidelines issued under Unlock 2.0 by the Home Minister has asked all educational institutions, including universities and college campuses to remain shut until 31st July 2020.

Following the announcement, the conduct of the exams is highly unlikely on the previously scheduled date, 15th July 2020.

However, the Himachal Pradesh government has not issued any clear notification or statement with regard to the postponement of the Semester Exams 2020

Around 40,000 students are eagerly waiting for the announcement of HPU in this regard. Currently, many colleges affiliated with HPU are used as quarantine centres for COVID-19 patients which are yet to be vacated and sanitized.

Furthermore, In terms of preparedness, it appears that the HPU Semester Exam may be delayed as the staff members and teachers of colleges who are to facilitate the holding of the exams have been working from home.,

As per the current situation, it seems that the HPU Semester Exams 2020 may start from July 2020 end or early August 2020. 

The university and state government authorities are waiting for the clear directions from UGC and the HRD minister. As soon as the fresh guidelines are released by the central authorities, the university will start preparing for holding the exams.
