Gujarat NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Allotment Out; Fee by Sept 3

The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) has released the Gujarat National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 1 provisional seat allotment result. Candidates can check the result on the official website at medadmgujarat.org. The committee has published both rank-wise and institute-wise allotment lists on the portal.

The Round 1 allotment covers MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical seats. These seats span government, grant-in-aid, and self-financed medical and dental colleges in Gujarat. Choice filling for this round closed on August 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

Allotted candidates must pay the tuition fee by September 3, 2026. They must then physically report to the allotted college by September 5, 2026. Missing either deadline will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. The seat will then move to the vacancy list for Round 2.

How to Check the Gujarat NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Allotment Result?

The committee has released the allotment as a downloadable PDF. Candidates can search the list using their merit rank. The steps are as follows.

  1. Visit the official portal at medadmgujarat.org.
  2. Click on the Round 1 seat allotment link on the homepage.
  3. Open either the rank-wise allotment PDF or the institute-wise allotment PDF.
  4. Search using your NEET UG roll number or merit rank.
  5. Note the allotted college and course for reporting.

How to Pay the Tuition Fee for Round 1?

Fee payment is accepted only at designated HDFC Bank branches across Gujarat. Online transfer or third-party payment modes are not accepted for this step. The fee amount varies by the type of college allotted.

Government college fees are lower than fees at self-financed institutions. Candidates must collect and preserve the bank challan. The challan is required at the time of physical reporting.

What Documents Are Required at the Time of Reporting?

Candidates must carry both original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies. Any missing document can lead to denial of admission at the college.

  • NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard
  • Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate
  • School leaving or transfer certificate
  • Domicile certificate of Gujarat
  • Caste certificate for SC, ST, or SEBC candidates
  • Non-creamy layer certificate valid on or after April 1, 2026 for SEBC
  • EWS certificate for EWS category candidates
  • Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner
  • HDFC Bank fee payment challan
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs

What Happens If a Candidate Does Not Report?

Any candidate who fails to pay the fee by September 3 loses the allotted seat. The same applies to those who do not report to the college by September 5. Such seats will be added to the vacancy pool for Round 2 counselling.

Candidates who accept the Round 1 seat but wish to try for a better college in Round 2 can opt for upgradation. The upgradation option is available during Round 2 registration. Details of this process will be shared through a separate notification on the official portal.

Why This Matters

Gujarat runs one of the largest state-level medical counselling drives in India. Round 1 is the biggest chance to secure a preferred government MBBS or BDS seat. Vacancies shrink sharply from Round 2 onwards.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in to medadmgujarat.org and download the allotment letter.
  2. Verify the allotted college, course, and category on the letter.
  3. Arrange every original document listed in the official notice.
  4. Pay the tuition fee at any designated HDFC Bank branch by September 3, 2026.
  5. Report to the allotted college with all documents by September 5, 2026.
Keep an Eye On

The Round 2 registration schedule and updated seat matrix for vacant and newly added seats. ACPUGMEC will release the Round 2 notification shortly after Round 1 reporting closes.
