Bihar ITI Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Bihar ITI Exam the candidates should have the following eligibility criteria:

  • Age limit - The candidates should be above 14 years of age (above 17 for the Mechanic Tractor and Motor Vehicle) by August 01, 2025. There is no maximum age limit.
  • Domicile - The candidates whose parents are permanent residents of Bihar or are employees of the Bihar Government or central government are eligible.
  • Qualifications - They should have completed class 10th from a recognized board with mathematics and science subjects. The candidate who is appearing for the class 10th exam is also eligible.
  • Physical Fitness - The candidates should be physically fit. A physical fitness test will be conducted after the entrance exam.

When the application forms have been released, the candidates will have to go through the following steps to apply for the exam:

  • The candidates will have to visit the official website of BCECE i.e., bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/.
  • They will have to register themselves and generate a login ID and password.
  • Then they can start filling out the online application with personal and academic details.
  • They will have to upload the scanned photograph and signature in the desired size and format.
  • The duly filled form can be submitted along with the application fees.
  • After successful submission, the candidates can take the printout of the application form and the payment receipt and send it to the BCECE board.

Bihar ITI Admission 2025: Exam Pattern

The ITICAT is an exam of 2.15 hours. The question paper is of 300 marks and consists of 150 objective-type questions. The question paper consists of 3 sections: Mathematics, General Science, and General Knowledge. There is no negative marking and each correct answer provides 2 marks.

  • The admit cards will be issued online on the official website. The candidates can download it by entering their registration number and date of birth. 
  • The admit card will have details like the roll number, centre of the exam, the date of the exam, and instructions to follow in the examination.
  • The candidates will have to carry the hard copy of the admit card on the day of the exam along with identity proof like an Adhar card, voter ID, etc.
