The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released the exam schedule for the CA Foundation and Intermediate exams for January 2025. The exams will be conducted at various centers across India and abroad, including locations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Kathmandu.
Exam Dates:
- Foundation Exams: January 12, 14, 16, and 18, 2025.
- Intermediate Exams:
- Group I: January 11, 13, and 15, 2025
- Group II: January 17, 19, and 21, 2025.
The Foundation exams will consist of four papers, with Papers 1 and 2 having a duration of 3 hours (2 PM to 5 PM) and Papers 3 and 4 scheduled for 2 hours (2 PM to 4 PM). For the Intermediate exams, all papers will follow a 3-hour schedule from 2 PM to 5 PM. Check complete details here.
Exam Cities:
The exams will be held in numerous cities across India, such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and smaller cities like Raipur, Dehradun, and Bhubaneswar. For candidates abroad, exam centers will be set up in cities like Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Thimpu.
Application Process:
The online application process for both Foundation and Intermediate exams will open on November 10, 2024, and close on November 23, 2024 (without late fees). Candidates who miss the deadline can still apply with late fees until November 26, 2024.
Exam Fees:
- Foundation: ₹1,500 (India), $325 (overseas)
- Intermediate: ₹1,500 for a single group, ₹2,700 for both groups (India). Overseas candidates will be charged $325 for a single group and $500 for both groups.
Medium of Examination:
Candidates have the option to choose between English and Hindi for answering their papers.
