Karnataka PGCET Result 2024 Released, Check Course-Wise Direct Link

Karnataka PGCET results has been released on September 28, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam on August 4 and September 18 will be able to check the results on the official website i.e. kea.kar.nic.in. The credentials they need to check the results are PGCET number and date of birth. Karnataka PGCET result includes both rank and score secured by the candidates. Karnataka PGCET Merit List 2024

The merit list will be purely based on the marks scored in Karnataka PGCET 2024 Exam. A separate merit list be made for the PGCET for the MBA, MCA, ME/M. Tech, and M. Arch degrees. KEA allows candidates to apply for an engineering degree course in the state of Karnataka on the basis of GATE scores.

Candidates are advised to attend the counseling only if they have the required percentage of marks in the qualifying examination. General candidaates should have obtained 50% of aggregate minimum marks taken together in all the subjects for all the years of the Degree examination. 45% of aggregate marks in all the subjects for all the years in the Degree examination is required in the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST.

Next Steps for Qualifying Candidates

Karnataka PGCET-qualified candidates will be eligible for the counselling. This counselling will be conducted for admission in MBA, MCA, ME/M. Tech, and M. Arch courses in reputed colleges. If candidates meet cut-offs then they can get admission in their desired colleges. Cut-offs will be set by the participating colleges in the counselling. You need to register for the counselling online and pay the registration fee. After that, you are required to choose your preferred courses and colleges. It is advised that you must choose at least 20 colleges. Once you are done with choice filling, you have to lock those choices. You also have to upload all the required documents for verification.

After completing these steps the final stage will be seat allotment and admission. The seat allotment results will be published after each round of counselling. Seats will be allotted based on the merit of candidates, availability of the seats, and choices filled by candidates. Once you get the seat you have to report to the allotted college with the required documents and admission fees. Document verification and the payment of the admission fee must be done before the specified time otherwise seat will be cancelled.
