The NTA is set to conduct the CMAT 2026 on 25 January 2026 in CBT mode at the designated exam centres across India.

The exam is expected to follow a similar pattern to previous years, with 100 MCQs divided into 5 sections: Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship in 3 hours.

Admit Card: Printed copy with photo and signature (mandatory).
Photo ID: Aadhar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence (name must match).
Passport Photos: 2–3 recent photos for verification.

CMAT 2026 Exam Live Update: Last Minute Preparation

Focus on solving questions you are confident about rather than attempting all.
Language Comprehension (LC) – Revise grammar rules, vocabulary, and short RCs; target 16–18 attempts.
Logical Reasoning (LR) - Prioritize input–output, coding-decoding, and puzzles; target 14–17 attempts.
Quantitative Techniques & DI (QTDI) - Focus on arithmetic, DI shortcuts, and formulas; attempt 11–14 questions carefully.
General Awareness (GK) - Only attempt 8–10 sure-shot questions, focus on static GK & business awareness; avoid guessing.
Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) - Revise startup basics, schemes, and innovation concepts; target 14–16 attempts.
