University of Delhi, has released the interview schedule for PhD admissions in Education for the 2024-25 session. Candidates must bring original documents to the venue. The list of eligible candidates will be available on the departmental website.
University of Delhi has announced the interview schedule for PhD admissions in the Department of Education for the 2024-25 academic session. The interview will be conducted from January 7 to 10, 2025. The interview will be conducted in two sessions i.e. morning (9 AM) and evening (1 PM).

Delhi University PhD Admission 2024-25: Documents Required (Originals)
Candidates must bring the following documents during the interview:
- Seven (07) copies of the research proposal (back-to-back printouts recommended).
- Proof of identity (Voter ID/Aadhaar/Driving License/Passport/ID card issued by a government institution).
- Class X certificate for date of birth verification.
- Master's degree in Education (Marksheet and Degree).
- Grade-to-percentage conversion proof (if applicable).
- M.Phil. in Education (Marksheet and Degree, if applicable).
- Reserved category certificate (SC/ST/PWD/EWS/OBC – Non-Creamy Layer). For EWS and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), the certificate must be issued on or after April 1, 2024.
- Certificate for JRF/NET/Ph.D. admission (as applicable).
Important Notes for Candidates
- Candidates must defend the title and area of their research proposal during the interview. Any changes to these will result in disqualification.
- The list of eligible candidates for the Ph.D. interview will be uploaded on the department's website (cie.du.ac.in) in due time.
- No personal intimation (email, WhatsApp, etc.) will be sent. Candidates are responsible for checking updates.
- If a candidate is found ineligible during document verification or at any later stage, their application will be canceled.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the departmental website for updates and ensure all documents are in order before attending the interview.
