The University of Delhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi has signed a Memorandum of Association (MoU) to offer PhD Programs Jointly.

New Delhi: Delhi University has joined hands with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi, to offer joint PhD programmes. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed in this regard.
Delhi University and AUD have inked the MoU to enable reciprocal collaboration for developing academic excellence.
The vice chancellor of Delhi University, Prof. Yogesh Singh, emphasised the need of sharing to make the most use of the resources, facilities, and advantages that the two universities have to offer.
Due to their proximity, Prof. Singh also discussed how students could move between the two universities, making it easier for them to take courses or write papers at the partner university, transfer their credits, and receive a certificate in this regard.
He also suggested conducting joint Ph.D. programmes so that students might benefit from the best of both universities through joint supervision by faculty from the two universities.
Expressing her gratitude to Prof. Yogesh Singh, Prof. Anu Singh Lather, Vice Chancellor of AUD, thanked DU VC for accepting the proposal of partnership, which would commence with the signing of MoU.
Speaking during the event, Prof. Lather focused on the special programmes and activities of AUD and how this partnership might help the faculties and students of both Universities.
Further, she said that the partnerships might extend beyond shared resources and cooperative research. She also assured that the collaboration between Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi, a new and thriving university, and the University of Delhi, a century-old institution, would be extremely beneficial for both the universities.
The primary goals of this collaboration are to increase the effectiveness of teaching and research by providing students and researchers from the two institutions a golden chance to conduct research; to publish books, monographs, seminar and workshop volumes, etc.; to disseminate knowledge generally; to organise capacity building programmes; to exchange faculty, staff, and students; and to jointly organise seminars, conferences, and academic workshops on topics of mutual interest.
