The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has released the schedule for CSAB 2023 special round of counselling, marking the beginning of the process on July 30. Candidates can complete the registration on the official website, csab.nic.in.

CSAB 2023 Special Round Schedule Out

New Delhi: The CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) has released the schedule for the CSAB 2023 special round counselling process. The counseling session will commence on July 30, 2023, on the official website @csab.nic.in.

Candidates will have the opportunity to submit an online request for category restoration until July 31. Moreover, they are required to respond to any queries raised regarding category restoration for CSAB 2023 by August 31.

The CSAB 2023 will oversee the seat allotment procedure for various esteemed institutions, including National Institutes of Technologies (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technologies (IIITs), Indian Institute of Engineering, Science, and Technology, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).

The remaining vacancies after the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process will be made available on August 3, 2023. Simultaneously, on the same day, the registration, fee submission, and choice-filling process for CSAB special round 1 will commence and run until August 7, 2023.

The deadline for candidates to submit their list of preferred institutes is August 8. On the same day, the seat allotment results for CSAB 2023 special round 1 will be declared.

Candidates will have the option to select a seat or withdraw from the process from August 8 to August 11, 2023. During this period, they must also complete the online document verification process. The CSAB 2023 special round 2 will commence on August 13.

Moreover, CSAB 2023 will conduct a separate CSAB Supernumerary round, exclusively for candidates belonging to Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

This round will facilitate admissions to supernumerary seats in NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, and SVNIT Surat. The CSAB Supernumerary round will take place after the conclusion of the CSAB Special Rounds.
