Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. For M.Arch programs, applicants need a B.Arch degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories). For M.A programs, candidates should have B.Tech (Civil/Structural), B.ID, B.UD, B.Plan, B.Des, or B.Sc (Building/Interior Design) with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).
International applicants must provide equivalent degree recognition from CEPT's Equivalence Committee. Sponsored candidates require minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with at least 2 years in the sponsoring organization.

How to Apply for CEPT PG Admissions 2026?
- Candidates must register on the admissions portal using their email ID.
- After registration, applicants log in and fill the online application form for their chosen program.
- The entire process is completed through admissions.cept.ac.in with no offline submission allowed.
- Applicants should ensure all documents are uploaded before the June 21 deadline.
- Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- The university recommends applying well before the deadline to avoid technical issues.
Candidates must submit self-attested degree certificates and mark sheets for all semesters. A curriculum vitae highlighting academic and professional achievements is mandatory. Two reference letters from referees who know the applicant well must be submitted directly by the referees.
A portfolio in A4 landscape format (maximum 10 pages, 20MB file size, 150dpi) showcasing academic and professional work is required. Work experience certificates and proof of employment (for sponsored candidates) must be included. International candidates should provide GRE scores (valid within 2 years) or appear for the CEPT PG Test.

CEPT PG Test and Evaluation Process
The online CEPT PG Test will be conducted on June 27, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Indian nationals who have not appeared for GATE must take the CEPT PG Test. Candidates with GATE scores above the cutoff are exempt from the test.
An expert committee evaluates applications based on curriculum vitae, work experience, references, portfolio, test scores, and online interviews. Shortlisted candidates will be called for online interviews. The merit list is prepared based on the consolidated evaluation of all components.

What’s Next for Students
After submitting applications, candidates will receive a confirmation email with their application reference number.
