CBSE announced Class 12 results on May 13, 2026, with an overall pass percentage of 88.39%. Students can download digital marksheets from cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, DigiLocker, and UMANG app using roll number, school number, and admit card ID.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared Class 12 results on May 13, 2026. Students can access their digital marksheets through cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, DigiLocker, and UMANG app. The provisional marksheets are now available for download using four credentials: roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth.
The overall pass percentage stands at 88.39%, reflecting consistent performance across streams. Girls achieved a pass rate of 91.64%, outperforming boys at 85.70%. Over 16.92 lakh students appeared for the examination across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams in India and abroad.

How to Check CBSE Class 12 Results 2026?
Checking Results on Official CBSE Websites
- Students can access their CBSE Class 12 Results 2026 by visiting the official websites such as cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
- They need to click on the Class 12 Result 2026 link and enter important credentials including the roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth in the login window.
- After submitting the details, the subject-wise marks, grades, and overall qualifying status will be displayed on the screen instantly.
CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 Digital Marksheet Through DigiLocker
- Students can also download their digital marksheet through the DigiLocker platform by visiting digilocker.gov.in or using the DigiLocker mobile application available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Candidates must log in using their registered mobile number or Aadhaar-linked credentials.
- After logging in, they should navigate to the “Issued Documents” section, select CBSE, and click on the Class 12 Marksheet 2026 option to download the PDF copy.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 Downloading Using the UMANG App
- The UMANG mobile application provides another convenient way to access the CBSE Class 12 result.
- Students need to install the app from their device’s app store and sign in using their registered mobile number.
- In the services section, they must search for “CBSE” and select “Class 12 Result 2026.”
- By entering the required details such as the roll number and other credentials, students can view and download their digital marksheet directly through the application.
CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 Downloading Through SMS and IVRS
- CBSE also offers result access through SMS and IVRS services for students facing internet connectivity issues.
- To receive the result via SMS, students need to type “CBSE12 [Roll Number]” and send it to 7738299899.
- For IVRS access, candidates can dial 011-24300699 (Delhi) or the respective regional CBSE IVRS number.
- By following the automated voice instructions and entering their roll number using the phone keypad, students can listen to their subject-wise marks and result status.
CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 Grading System Explained

Students must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject to pass. For subjects with theory and practical components, 33 percent must be obtained separately in both sections. CBSE calculates results based on the best five subject scores; a sixth optional subject does not affect the final percentage.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 Verification and Re-evaluation
After result declaration, CBSE will announce dates for marks verification, photocopies of evaluated answer sheets, and re-evaluation applications. Students unsatisfied with marks can apply for verification (₹500 per subject) or re-evaluation (₹100 per question). Supplementary examinations will be held in July 2026 for failed subjects.
Schools will distribute original hard-copy marksheets and certificates in due course. Students should preserve both digital and physical copies for admission, scholarship, and employment purposes. University counselling and merit list preparation will begin based on CBSE score cards provided to participating institutions.
The online marksheet is provisional; original certificates will be distributed through schools later. Students should keep their admit cards safe for future reference. Download and save your digital marksheet immediately to avoid portal congestion during peak access hours.
