NIT Nagaland has released the physical reporting schedule for BTech admission 2026. Candidates allotted seats through JoSAA or CSAB must report at the campus with required documents to complete admission formalities within the notified window.

NIT Nagaland BTech 2026 Physical Reporting Schedule Out

The National Institute of Technology Nagaland (NIT Nagaland) has released the physical reporting schedule for the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) First Semester 2026 admission on its official website at nitnagaland.ac.in. The schedule applies to all candidates allotted a seat through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2026 and the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) 2026 Special Rounds.

As per the official circular, physical reporting for candidates allotted a seat through JoSAA 2026 will be held from August 13 to August 18, 2026. This window follows the common NIT+ system schedule. CSAB Special Round candidates must report as per the dates released after each round result.

Before physical reporting, candidates must complete online reporting on the JoSAA portal. This includes paying the seat acceptance fee, uploading documents, and choosing the Freeze, Float, or Slide option. The last date for online reporting is July 13, 2026.

BTech Programmes Offered at NIT Nagaland

NIT Nagaland offers six BTech programmes across eight semesters at its Dimapur campus. The reporting schedule applies to seats allotted in all these branches.

Documents Required for Physical Reporting

Candidates must carry originals and self-attested copies of all admission documents. The institute has also mandated two signed affidavits under the anti-ragging rules.

  • Provisional seat allotment letter from JoSAA or CSAB
  • JEE Main 2026 scorecard and admit card
  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and pass certificates
  • Category certificate, if applicable
  • PwD certificate, if applicable
  • Valid photo identity proof issued by the government
  • Passport-size photographs
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Seat acceptance fee receipt from JoSAA or CSAB portal
  • Signed anti-ragging affidavit by the student

How to Complete Physical Reporting at NIT Nagaland?

Candidates must first finish the online steps before travelling to the campus. The procedure is common for JoSAA and CSAB allottees.

  1. Log in to the JoSAA or CSAB portal after seat allotment.
  2. Pay the seat acceptance fee within the notified window.
  3. Upload the required documents for online verification.
  4. Download the provisional allotment letter and reporting slip.
  5. Report at NIT Nagaland, Dimapur, on the scheduled date.
  6. Submit original documents at the admission cell for verification.
  7. Collect the admission confirmation slip after successful verification.

Why This Matters

Physical reporting is mandatory even after online seat acceptance. Candidates who skip reporting within the notified dates risk losing their allotted seat. Original document verification is done only at the campus.
