Ms. Shradha Shende is an Assistant Professor at NRI Institute of Pharmacy. She holds a B.Pharm. degree from RGPV and an M.Pharm. degree in Pharmaceutics from RTMNU. Besides clearing her GPAT, she has also nine years of work experience in academics. Ms. Shende has published research papers in six international and nine national journals and has received the Best Faculty Award by Srijan in 2019.

Being a Faculty of the Department, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

As a faculty member, my roles include teaching, guiding students in their academic endeavours, providing support and feedback, conducting research, and contributing to the overall academic environment. I aim to inspire a love for learning, foster critical thinking, and help students develop both subject-specific knowledge and essential skills for their future careers. Additionally, I strive to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

How do you strategize the curriculum and how often it gets updated to make it befitting for the students?

We aim to balance foundational knowledge with emerging skills. The curriculum undergoes periodic reviews. We consider input from faculty, alumni, and employers to incorporate evolving requirements.
