Ms. Chanchal Jain is an Assistant Professor at the NRI Institute of Pharmacy. She holds an M.Pharm degree from Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy. Her research interest is in Herbal Technology. She has an experience of over four years in Academics. She has published four research papers and three review articles.

Being a Faculty of the Department, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

To teach students according to the curriculum with proper manner and dedication it is crucial to understand the curriculum thoroughly, use engaging instructional strategies provide clear communication, and offer encouragement and support to students throughout their learning journey.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

To build trust and encourage students to do the right thing in the right way, it’s important to create an open and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves. Encourage curiosity and critical thinking by actively listening to their questions, providing thoughtful answers, and fostering discussions that promote understanding and growth. By demonstrating respect for their inquiries and guiding them toward ethical and effective solutions, you can cultivate a sense of trust and accountability in the classroom

How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects and make it industry-oriented?

How do you help your student cope with the high competition in the outside world?

To motivate students to excel in their field, inspire them to embrace hard work, and cultivate confidence in their abilities. Provide positive reinforcement, celebrate their achievements, and offer support to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Do you have any extracurricular activities/ programs to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real-world challenges?

Incorporating extracurricular activities like dance, singing, stand-up comedy and more can significantly contribute to building students' confidence. These activities provide students with opportunities to explore their talents, express themselves creatively, and develop valuable skills such as public speaking, teamwork, and self-confidence.

When you came to the college, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?
