What are your roles as Head of the Department?

My primary duty is to ensure that the scholars who take admission to this group get the proper form of training and are capable of pursuing the profession of their choice. They must be knowledgeable, have the proper skills, and be eligible to get appropriate jobs. Apart from that, looking after the functioning of the institute, tackling the management, and the faculties, looking after the placements, and constructing the suitable enterprise connection are my key responsibilities.

How do you establish healthy relations with students and faculty in NIHMT?

We are sensitive to the issues and desires that teachers and college students face. We are always in communication with our students and analyse their uncertainties. College students are trained and prepared for future job interviews on our campus. Students follow the professor's instructions by solving every issue.

Which latest program are you offering in your department to help students stand apart from the crowd?

A vast array of UG, PG, and Diploma programs in the fields of operations and hotel management are available at our college. We employ the newest technology, a variety of audio-visual methods, and other useful information to instruct students. All things considered, our courses are a great fit for the demanding and dynamic world of today and equip students with the skills they need to handle unforeseen situations.

Which factors make the programs of your college pursuing for students?

We give students amazing opportunities to earn while they learn, and we occasionally set up specialised training programs to help them improve their subject-matter expertise and general knowledge of the outside world. Furthermore, we occasionally organise industry interaction sessions and professional visits in conjunction with academicians and industry experts. All of these things, in my opinion, make the courses offered by our college worthwhile for students to pursue.

How did you train your students in accordance with industry requirements and societal needs?

I firmly believe that the best ways to teach my students are through critical and computational thinking, communication, teamwork, and creativity. Because of all these strong personal preferences, I have become one of the students' main pillars.

What extracurricular activities raise the skills of the students in NIHMT?

All industries are looking for candidates who meet the A1 standard. We assist the students in developing into outstanding scholars and forming their future selves. Activities for students include study tours, annual athletics, cultural events, food festivals, and social awareness campaigns. In addition to these, they give performances in academic and business environments. Digital tools can also help students create a new identity.

Any valuable advice which you would like to give to the students to have a prosperous career ahead?

A happy face is one of the main objectives of a job in the hotel industry. Having good communication with customers is essential. Show consideration and happiness in every circumstance. Strive to rise to the occasion, be aware of obstacles, and carry out assignments with assurance.
