What excited you to pursue your career in academia and join Solitaire Business School in the journey as a Director of Academics?

I was excited to pursue a career in academia because of my passion for teaching and helping others learn. I believed that education was essential for personal and professional growth, and I was eager to help students achieve their goals. I enjoy working at Solitaire Business School because of its commitment to providing students with a high-quality, innovative education.

How do you balance the needs of faculty, students, and administration as a Director?

Partnering with industry to develop and deliver a curriculum that is relevant to the needs of employers. Providing students with career development services to help them prepare for the workforce. We will also create a curriculum advisory board, conduct regular surveys, and use data to track student outcomes to ensure that the curriculum is effective and meets the needs of students and industry. What is the challenging part of being in the Director - Academics role and how do you handle them?

At Solitaire Business Schools, we know that the world is constantly changing and that our students need to be prepared for whatever comes their way. We also partner with industry leaders to develop and deliver a curriculum that is aligned with the needs of employers. The Director of Solitaire Business School should play a key role in shaping the school’s strategic direction and growth by Developing and articulating a vision for the school’s future, based on a deep understanding of the industry and the needs of students and employers. Setting strategic goals and objectives for the school, and developing and implementing plans to achieve them. Ensuring that the school’s programs and services are aligned with its strategic goals and objectives and that they meet the needs of students and employers.

Overseeing the school’s financial resources and ensuring that they are used effectively to support its strategic goals and objectives. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including students, employers, alumni, and government officials. Promoting the school’s reputation and standing in the business education community. In short, the Director of Solitaire Business School should be a visionary leader who can guide the school to success in a rapidly changing and competitive environment.

Can you explain to us your strategies for building industry-academia relationships and strengthening industry relationships with the organization?

Solitaire Business Schools (SBS) builds and strengthens professional ties through Advisory councils of business leaders, Guest lectures and workshops by industry experts, case studies based on real-world business challenges, Job placements with industry partners and Research and development collaborations. 

SBS believes that strong professional ties are essential for providing our students with the best possible education and for creating opportunities for them to succeed in their careers.

What is your vision for the future as a director of Solitaire Business Schools?

My vision for Solitaire Business Schools (SBS) is to make it a preeminent institution of business education, globally recognized for its cutting-edge curriculum, world-class faculty, and strong industry ties. I aim to develop a curriculum that is both innovative and relevant to the needs of the business world. Recruit and retain world-class faculty who are passionate about teaching and research.
