What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

As an assistant professor, I would be responsible for helping students with their academic work, responding to their inquiries, assisting with their research, and offering advice on a variety of subjects. Counsel and guide the students for their all-round development Additionally, I would work to promote respect, empathy, and equitable chances for all students in order to create a pleasant and inclusive learning environment.


How do you establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

Mutual respect and open communication are essential to forging strong bonds with both students and other faculty members. I would pay close attention to the problems of the pupils and offer helpful criticism. Building strong relationships would entail working together with other faculty members, sharing knowledge and skills, and having open discussions. Stronger ties may also result from fostering a sense of community and planning social activities or academic projects.


How do you introduce a practical and industry-oriented approach towards subjects?

I would place an intense focus on real-world applications, case studies, and hands-on experiences to bring a practical and industry-oriented approach to courses. Students would be exposed to contemporary practices and developments through industry partnerships, internships, and guest lectures from specialists in the field. Students could improve their critical thinking, problem-solving, and relevant abilities for their future employment by including practical assignments, projects, and simulations into their coursework.


How do you strategize and update the curriculum to make it befitting for the students? 

Updates to the curriculum will be based on a regular evaluation of the changing demands of sectors and job opportunities. You can find areas for improvement by talking to experts, conducting surveys, and getting student and alumni feedback. It is possible to maintain the relevance and value of the curriculum for students by incorporating evolving technology, multidisciplinary viewpoints, and course outcomes that are in line with industry demands.

What are your views on the placements and higher education of the students from your department?

Opportunities for further education and placements are essential for students' career development. I would work hard to forge solid business relationships and encourage collaborations with respectable organizations. Giving advice on possibilities for higher education, entrance tests, and scholarships would also help students pursue additional coursework and study.


Which strategy do you use to help students to cope with this competitive world?

I would prioritize comprehensive development to help students understand the competitive environment. It would be crucial to promote a growth mentality, organizational and time management skills, and stress management approaches. It would improve students' employability to provide career counseling, practice interviews, and resume-building courses. To further prepare them for the rigors of the competitive world, it is also important to encourage cooperation, leadership qualities, and networking opportunities.


What extracurricular activities are organized in college to enhance the skills of the students?

Student skill development is greatly aided by extracurricular activities. Events like debates, hackathons, and seminars could be planned to promote participation, innovation, and analytical thinking. Sports tournaments, cultural celebrations, and volunteer programmes would encourage leadership, social responsibility, and teamwork, promoting a well-rounded education.


Which challenges are you facing to uplift the quality of education of your department?

Relevance of the subject is required as according to the current scenario from the initial level. More emphasis is required to upgrade the subject. To preserve educational quality, stakeholders should be consulted often on the curriculum, and educators should stay current on trends and advances in education.


What are the approaches you bring in apart from curriculum to teach students?

In addition to the curriculum, I would use strategies like active learning, flipped classrooms, and integrated learning. Discussions, group projects, and presentations could be used to promote student participation and promote the application of knowledge.
