She has presented 17 research papers in National Seminars/ conferences and 6 research papers in International Seminars/ conferences. 7 of her research papers have been published along with on co-authored book. She has also been awarded the Top Achiever Award at a national seminar in 2023, organized by Rajasthan Swayat Shasan Mahavidyalaya (RSSM), Jaipur; Indian Human Ecology Council (IHEC) Jaipur in association with the dept. of Forest, Rajasthan.

What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

My roles and responsibilities towards students encompass counseling, guiding, teaching, and mentoring In addition to counseling, guiding, teaching, and mentoring, I also focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. I want students to feel comfortable and supported, so they can freely express themselves, ask questions, and participate in discussions. 

I encourage critical thinking and creativity, as well as independent learning, to help students develop their skills and excel academically. Moreover, I understand that each student is unique and may have different learning preferences, so I offer personalized assistance tailored to their needs. My ultimate goal is to be a source of support, empowerment, and inspiration for students throughout their educational journey.

How do you establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

Taking time to talk with our students outside of class and asking them about their studies and any other problems they may have, if any, that are troubling them, is what we do to help them out. 

During our weekly student meetings, we discuss the progress of their studies with them, provide them with assistance with their problems, and sometimes even talk about personal issues with them.

How do you introduce a practical and industry-oriented approach towards subjects?

To give the students a better understanding of the working environment within the industrial estates around us, we organize special sessions with the help of experts, as well as class visits to nearby industrial estates so that they can observe the working environment firsthand.

How do you strategize and update the curriculum to make it befitting for the students?

We strive to enhance students' learning experiences by incorporating additional content that is linked to the prescribed syllabi. We understand that the syllabus may not cover all aspects of a subject comprehensively, so we introduce supplementary materials that provide a broader understanding of the topics. 

To facilitate learning, we utilize various teaching aids such as online videos and e-content. These resources offer students a dynamic and interactive way to grasp complex concepts, making their learning process more engaging and effective. By incorporating multimedia elements, we cater to different learning styles and help students understand the subject matter from various perspectives. 

Furthermore, we believe in preparing students for competitive exams related to our subjects. In classroom discussions, we address and analyze questions from these exams, helping students develop the necessary skills and knowledge to excel. By discussing such questions, we not only deepen their understanding of the subject but also enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. 

Overall, our approach involves incorporating additional content, utilizing teaching aids, and addressing competitive exam questions to provide students with a comprehensive and well-rounded learning experience.

What are your views on the placements and higher education of the students from your department?

We are dedicated to offering skill-oriented courses related to our discipline. We understand the importance of practical skills and hands-on training in enhancing students' capacity and employability. While we strive to provide theoretical knowledge and foundational understanding within the classroom setting, we acknowledge that onsite training and skill courses are invaluable for students' capacity building. 

These external opportunities enable students to apply their learning in real-world scenarios, further develop their skills, and bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical applications. We continuously explore collaborations and partnerships to provide students with access to such training programs, ensuring they are well-equipped for the challenges and demands of their chosen fields.

Which strategy do you use to help students to cope with this competitive world?

We discuss subject-related questions, asked in various competitive exams like IAS, RAS, subordinate services, REET, etc. to keep them updated about the subject value, and also we use online videos and e-contents for this purpose.

What extracurricular activities are organized in college to enhance the skills of the students?

Weekly talks, motivational programs, and expert seminars are organized by our department. Besides, we also motivate students to join online skill courses like SWAYAM, MOOC, etc.

Which challenges are you facing to uplift the quality of education in your department?

One of the key challenges we face in uplifting the quality of education in our department is the need for more IT resources and financial support. These resources are essential for organizing weekly motivational programs and facilitating interface sessions with entrepreneurs, successful individuals, and role models. By providing students with exposure to real-world experiences and inspiring individuals, we can enhance their learning journey and motivate them toward success. However, additional IT resources and financial support are crucial to make these initiatives a regular and impactful part of our educational programs.

What are the approaches you bring in apart from the curriculum to teach students?

We use subject-related videos and movies in the classroom. We conduct classroom discussions to strengthen knowledge and learning, which is especially helpful to slow learners. We invite experts to organize seminars for students. We also organize monthly special lectures for our students.

What initiatives are in place to promote career motivation, and entrepreneurship, and provide exposure to the outside world for students?

We understand the importance of organizing special career-oriented sessions to motivate students and expose them to various opportunities. These sessions serve as a platform to promote entrepreneurship and encourage students to think beyond traditional career paths. We actively seek to create more interface programs that connect students with successful personalities, career counselors, and subject experts.

By inviting guest speakers and professionals from different industries, we provide students with valuable insights into the outer world and potential career prospects. These interactions enable students to gain practical knowledge, expand their networks, and make informed decisions about their future. We aim to empower students with the necessary tools, inspiration, and guidance to thrive in their chosen careers and contribute positively to society.
