PCU recently participated in the Pudhari Edu Disha Education Expo at Kolhapur, where they had the pleasure of interacting with many enthusiastic students and parents. The expo provided a valuable platform for PCU to showcase the diverse range of UG, PG, and PG diploma programs they offer. Beyond the traditional engineering and medical fields, students showed great interest in PCU's job-oriented programs such as Design, Gaming and VFX, Animation and Multimedia Design, Advertisement, Events and Public Relations, Digital Filmmaking, Journalism and Mass Media, Nutrition and Dietetics, Clinical Psychology, Digital Forensic Sciences, Law, Pharmacy, BA with Civil Services Integrated Stream, Liberal Arts, and Clinical Microbiology.

The PCU team, including Mr. Jamir Mulla (Head Marketing PCU), Dr. Kaustubh Jadhav (PCCOE Pune), Prof. Santosh Dabhole (NMIET Talegaon), and Mr. Mustafa Chougle (Student Welfare Officer, PCU), was available to provide career counselling and guidance to the students.

PCU was thrilled with the positive response received at the expo and is confident that they can provide students with the education and support needed to achieve their career goals.

Green Innovative Club Inaugurated at PCU Campus on World Environment Day

[Pune, Maharashtra] – [4 June] In celebration of World Environment Day, the PCU campus today witnessed the inauguration of a new initiative, the Green Innovative Club. The club aims to promote environmental awareness and sustainability practices within the college community and beyond.

The inauguration ceremony was held by the blessings and guidance of our honourable trustees.

And in the presence of Dr Manimala Puri, Vice Chancellor PCU, Dr Sudeep D. Thepade along with all heads of schools, faculty members, students, and staff. Dr Manimala Puri, Vice Chancellor of PCU delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship and lauded initiative in forming the Green Innovative Club. According to her, it is an essential step towards fostering environmental sustainability and responsibility within the academic community. As centers of learning and innovation, universities have a unique opportunity to lead by example in promoting eco-friendly practices

PCET's Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering Hosts Read Japan Project Book Donation Ceremony

On Tuesday, 28th May 2024, the International Relations Cell Japan Facilitation Centre proudly hosted the Read Japan Project Book Donation Ceremony, an initiative generously supported by The Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research and The Nippon Foundation.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Hon. Mr. YAGI Koji, Consul-General, Consulate General of Japan in Mumbai, who served as the Chief Guest. We were equally honored to have Dr. Girish Desai, Executive Director of PCET, alongside our respected trustees, Shri. Dnyaneshwar P. Landge, Smt. Padma M. Bhosale, Shri. Shantaram D. Garade, and Shri. Vitthal S. Kalbhor.

This significant event marked a milestone in fostering stronger educational ties between India and Japan. The donation of books under the Read Japan Project not only enriches our library with invaluable resources but also symbolizes the deep cultural and academic exchange between our institutions. The ceremony showcased enthusiastic participation and support from both PCCOE and the Japanese foundations, highlighting our mutual commitment to educational excellence and cultural collaboration.

The inaugural cultural fest, ANANTAM 2024, held at PCET's Pimpri Chinchwad University on the 27th and 28th of March 2024, was a vibrant celebration of creativity and talent. The event featured Marathi superstars Swapnil Joshi, Sukanya Kulkarni, Sharmishtha Raut, and child actor Myra Vaikul, who graced the occasion to promote their upcoming film "Naach Ga Ghuma," set for release on 1st May 2024. Their presence added glamour and excitement to the fest, captivating the audience with their charisma and talent.

Chancellor Shri Harshwardhan Patil, a visionary leader known for his unwavering commitment to academic excellence, played a pivotal role in the success of ANANTAM 2024. He not only lent gravitas to the event but also demonstrated his strong support for initiatives that promote cultural enrichment and student engagement.
