She is the Entrepreneur Development Cell Co-ordinator and the IIC Convenor. PG and PhD degrees are from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. B.Com General Course covers Basic accounts to Management's account and Theory of Commerce.B.Com General Introduced in the year 2020. This program blends various courses of both fields over the period of four years with an emphasis on the career.

What would you say are the “best practices” in the course you’re offering ?

Industrial visits, mini projects and elective courses are available to pupils. Sound Accounts knowledge in core courses imparted by well qualified and experienced faculty. Pupils get value added courses, soft skill courses to ensure students.

Information about Financial related knowledge and Commerce related knowledge are valuable insights on programs.B.Com General is the Vast subject that involves Accounts, Management, Communication.

The syllabus is updated according to the current trends. Some upcoming trends in Commerce. Value added courses, Tally are conducted every academic year to ensure that our students are updated with Industrial demands.

How did you train yourself/faculty to deliver this program to the students?

100% of the faculty members in the department hold a PhD. They are updated regularly through Faculty Development Programs by Nanmuthalvan and Various Agencies. We conduct innovative activities such as guest lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences to equip the faculty well. This provides multiple ways to learn both teaching and technical skills. Feedbacks are periodically obtained from students and necessary corrective actions are performed.

How do you tend to build an industry connect with this program? 

Our campus signs MOUs with core/companies and industries. Joint Publications with industry professionals is our greatest asset. We are conducting Value added Courses Guest lectures, Seminars and Workshops by Industrial.

What are the benefits and career options after pursuing this course?

Our course helps to build a career for students in the Product Manufacturing Industry, all the Finance Department and in Commerce related Industry.
