What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?
“Delegating and empowering the ones I work with”
My Leadership has always been people-centric. I have known my employees by name, in person, and very well know their abilities and their weakness. I believe that being an educational institution the faculty fraternity is the most valuable asset and I believe that we should work towards Faculty Development and empowerment. At the same time, it should be aligned with proper work culture, an effective HR, and optimum Administrative support.
How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school?
“Students are our greatest ambassadors”
I believe that the Quality the institution offers, itself, is the greatest marketing quotient. Any college for that instance is known for its Admissions, Results, and Placement & Research and Entrepreneurial avenues. Creating Visibility and Creating Brand Value is of prime importance. Digital media is an important tool but the ultimate marketing is to mold a student into a responsible citizen with requisite skills.
“Nehru Group of Institutions has completed 50+ years and now stands tall with 21 Institutions, 18000 Plus students, 80 courses running across the institution with One Lakh Alumni to its credit”
What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the University/college and the students are?
“Duty-bound to equip our institution with the aspiration of the University”
The slogan we propagate is TOGETHER WE CREATE YOUR FUTURE. Hence we feel it is the responsibility of the Institution to work towards the overall development of a student and achieve the aim of outcome-based education. We believe that the faculty working in the college should be empowered and assure career progression. However, our ultimate aim is to achieve Autonomy status.

When you first came to Nehru Group of Institutions, what was your vision? Has it evolved, and how far along in implementing that vision?
“Education with the greatest outcome”
My association with the Educational Institutions started as early as 1991. The vision was to build quality higher education institutions and I have been fully successful in implementing my vision. I feel that success has embraced us from all corners despite all odds. The truth has prevailed and people have realized our true worth.
Any suggestions you would like to give the current youth and the aspiring students?
“Make use of the opportunities bestowed upon you”
The present education system is going through a paradigm shift with the advent of the New Higher Education Police. In this new policy, there is a lot of flexibility for the students to select their courses as per their interest and passion which is unlikely in the yesteryears. This is an opportunity for the students to select their courses, span of the courses, electives as per their choice and interest so that they would be able to work in their field with interest and passion. This will make them ultimately happy both at their workplaces and also in their personal life.
