Er Arvind Kumar is the Director at Khandoli Institute of Technology, Giridih. He did his B Tech in the year 2001. He has vast experience of more than 20 years. The college was formed in the year 2014 and since then he has been leading the college under his supervision. He is the President cum Founder of Vivekanand Educational & Charitable Trust Dighariakala, Giridih.

What is the latest program that you are offering in your institute that will help students outperform and stand apart from the crowd?
We have several Courses that are being offered at Khandoli Institute of Technology, Giridih Technical Courses and we are working on adding more of the Courses which will help the students to choose from and pursue their careers. We provide a Diploma in Civil Engineering, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and a Diploma in Mining Engineering.
What are the best practices in the course that you are offering?
We at Khandoli Institute of Technology are more focused on providing practical knowledge to the students rather than just working on the theory part. We are focused on giving exposure to the students practically by regularly making them visit different industrial visits which helps the students in getting more practical knowledge rather than just focusing on theoretical parts. We have different types of labs which are there to help the students understand the concepts.
Being the Director of Subhash Institute of Technology, what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?
I believe that true leadership involves inspiring and empowering others to reach their full potential, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, and leading by example with integrity and humility. I believe unless and until you set examples to the team you are handling they will be unable to work in a dedicated way to achieve success or organizational goals.
Leadership is nothing but teamwork it's like playing football when you are a captain you have to lead a team of 16 players. When you are a player you have to perform and set examples for the team members so it is the result of work done by all your teammates.
What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the College and the students are?
As a Founder of this esteemed College, I have a lot of roles, I am taking care of administrative jobs starting from admissions to maintaining discipline, tracking curriculum completion, maintaining good relationships between HOD and teachers, and students, and taking care of the financial aspects of the college. Taking care of the placement part as well as following the instructions from the University. I am also the NAAC Coordinator and Placement in-charge for the College. In addition to this, I work on innovative ideas that will help the students in coping up with the outside environment. My responsibility also extends to the safety of the students and maintaining discipline on the college campus.
What do you see as Khandoli Institute of Technology’s greatest strength?
The greatest strength of the College is the team members who are there in the college, are working with full dedication to achieve the desired goal of the college. These team members include the faculties non-teaching staff and the complete team of the trust which are working day by day to improve the quality of education we are providing, last but not the students are also the major strength of the college as they represent the college in the outside environment.
What do you think should be the College’s top priority over the next 10 years?
We are planning to get an affiliation as a university which is our plan of in the next 10 years. We are continuously working on adopting different Courses that are new to the students and are available at the University. We are first of all trying to reach the students with the current courses and are continuously working to get affiliated to new courses we are working to have some value-added courses and to start with some Pharma Courses. In the next 5 years, we are also trying to have Nursing Courses and different Para Medical Courses such as OT Assistant, Dresser, and so on.
Any insights into how your university could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?
We at Khandoli Institute of Technology have different scholarship campaigns applications for scholarships from students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, and Low-Income Groups are forwarded to the concerned authorities for sanction. Deserving students may also be recommended for merit scholarships to the authorities and donors of student aid. We are also providing scholarships up to 40% for girls candidates and sports persons.
What would you like people to know about your university they may not know?
We have Wi-Fi classrooms with spacious classrooms and laboratories for different streams which are available at the college. We have an Auditorium, Seminar Hall, and Library Facilities to support the students during their complete tenure. We Have Digital Classrooms that are available and assist the students in learning things more from visualization rather than just by reading.
