What is the latest program that you are offering in your department which will help students outperform and stand apart from the crowd.
Law students can be prepared to provide information through legal aid camps so that they can create their own identity and stand out from other students and perform better. As you can see, technology is emerging day by day so we always try to offer a program that can align with the current legal trends and evolving the career opportunity for our students. We always focus on the fact that our students should be aware about the emerging laws these days like cyber security law, environmental law, Health Care law, space law, human rights law, and legal ethics law etc. So these are some of the programs through which we help our students for emerging industries and can't set them apart in a competitive job market.
What are the factors that make this program the best for the students to opt for?
Knowledge of law for discipline, desire for public relations, a balanced environment and guidance of teachers. There can be multiple factors that make the law program the best for the students to opt for. It is very essential that before pursuing the law degree, students should have interest and career goals for it. Law degree can help students to make a difference in themselves and in society as well. Law students are well aware of their human rights. It is a degree which is applicable in various industries and it also opens various career opportunities for the students like one can practice in business in government in advocacy etc .
What are the best practices in the course you’re offering?
There are various best practices that we offer like we always make our student to stay updated in the development which are taking place in the law field law is somewhat lengthy course so we always tried to create a studies schedule which is suitable for our students we make our students to work on the practical problems and hypothetical scenario that citra so that they can apply their bookish knowledge in a practical manner . We also organize activities like group discussions, class discussion case briefing etc.
What are some valuable insights of the program that you are offering at your institute/dept.?
The evaluation information we provide in our college is like giving information about law through legal literacy camp, mood quota practice etc. Law programs offer valuable insights for the student like leadership, critical thinking, ethical consideration, time management etc. In our law program we teach our students how to think critically and how to develop well reasoned arguments for any issues. We make our students understand deeply about ethics which makes them take ethical decisions in their life. Students are taught about how the legal system operates.
How does the program ensure that students are being prepared for the future?
The program ensures that the law students are ready for the times ahead as they are given guidance from various institutions like legal aid camps, old age homes, NGOs, child labor, prisoners' rights and various workshops are organized on all these subjects. As technology is emerging day by day we also ensure to provide training in Legal Technology. Apart from the book is knowledge we also offer career services, workshops and networking events for our students.

How did you train yourself/ faculty to deliver this program to the students?
Law is a very diverse program which requires much training. To deliver this program in the best possible way to our students I always try to keep myself and my faculties to be updated. My faculty members are always engaged in legal research work and they also receive training for this, guest lectures and workshops are also organized for our facilities so that they can learn new things and can deliver that to the student . We often seek feedback from the students also. Being an HOD I also receive the leadership training to effectively run the department. We gathered the students and told them all the small and big information regarding law which was in their syllabus and those which were not in their syllabus and discussed each point.
How do you tend to build an industry connected with this program?
Through this program, we create connections in the industry through private institutions like banks, non-government institutions, Panchayats. We collaborate with law firms ,government agencies etc. and organize internship programs for our students. Through this our students gain practical knowledge. We also have a collaboration with these law firms through which our faculty and students work on legal issues. By building industry connections it enhances the relevance of the law program and opens many opportunities for the students.
What were the challenges that you faced while inculcating this program in your curriculum?
We have to design our curriculum in such a way that it should be up to date and that can align with the illegal education situation and industry needs. Attracting a good number of students in this program is also a very challenging task. As law is a very diverse field so we have to recruit and retain very well qualified faculty members also.
What are the benefits and career options after pursuing this course?
After successfully completing the law course, the student can become a practicing judge, bank clerk in various fields like Prosecution Officer, Legal Advice, Legal Consultant in Government and Non-Government, Advocacy, etc. After Pursuing a course in law it can provide a wide range of career options. Students can work in law firms, government, non government, corporate settings, non profit organizations etc. One can become a lawyer which involves providing legal advice and appearing in court etc. If a lawyer is very outgoing then he can also become a judge. There are many lawyers who often work for non profit organizations also like NGOs. These career paths make the law program very valuable and adaptable.
