What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?
From the early years of my life, I have been very passionate about exploring the latest technologies and digital advancements and keeping my knowledge up-to-date. And I find immense fulfillment in remaining connected to the dynamic world of the education sector.
Apart from this, I strive to enhance my skills and knowledge so that I can effectively access, evaluate, and utilize the given information resources and in return deliver finest quality knowledge to students. Also while working here I interact with a lot of students and everyone understands the concepts differently, so I constantly seek ways to optimize the overall teaching-learning process by employing innovative digital tools and techniques.
In other words, I would say that by embracing new technologies and methodologies, I aim to facilitate a more productive and enriching learning experience for students and educators alike. Lastly, the enormous potential offered by digital transformation captivates me and reinforces my connection to the education sector. Because I firmly believe that digital technologies have the power to revolutionize education by making it more accessible, inclusive, and engaging.
Being the Dean of Academics at IIMT Greater Noida, what is your philosophy of leadership?
As the Dean of Academics of IIMT Greater Noida, I strongly believe in Relational Leadership, where everyone works together to bring a positive change in society or accomplish a common goal in the best way possible. Because bringing team members together on a common platform, listening to them patiently, utilizing their skills and unique talents in the best way possible and dealing efficiently with people of different mindset and experiences is very essential to have a cordial work environment.
Because, suppose let's say any of my employees who used to work enthusiastically suddenly stop working and disengage from others and I don't talk to him/her personally by simply assuming that he/she has turned against the organization. So as a result, everyone including the organization, employee and our relationship will suffer and he/she might leave the place as well.
Also, we all know that someone who leads with a loving and collaborative way brings best results and also identifies the roadblocks easily to correct things. Hence I keep my employees engaged in some activities all the time as occupied employees are more productive and more likely to remain loyal to an organization.

How does the curriculum of your institute ensure the best practices of industry?
We follow an outcome-based education by developing course plans with objectives and outcomes and IIMT has set up an industry-like environment on campus with an objective to establish strong industry connections, conduct workshops, MDP and FDPs in collaboration with corporate people and receive required suggestions and ideas for process and curriculum improvement.
Other than this, the IIMT-CSED Industry Institute Centre for Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Cell was established recently with an aim of building a strong brand presence in the corporate world by constantly interacting and collaborating with the stakeholders. The cell also conducts regular classes along with practical hands-on sessions in IIoT and Smart Manufacturing.
Also, students' knowledge is evaluated through learning style tests and although we follow the curriculum designed by the Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University, any kind of gaps are plugged through design-based experiments and additional hands-on sessions followed by skills enhancement and placement specific training programs.
Last but not the least, we regularly encourage our students to pursue internships during vacations in CSED and acquire the necessary problem-solving skills and also participate in tech fests, paper presentations, and idea and innovation contests etc.
What do you think should be your college’s top priority over the next 10 years?
In my opinion, the upcoming 10 years are very crucial for all educational institutions to develop the future of the nation. And for our IIMT, the top priority should be to create such a learning ecosystem that prepares students for the challenges and opportunities of the rapidly changing and cut-throat competitive world.
And we should also focus on being at the forefront of educational innovation, technology integration, global collaboration, research excellence, entrepreneurship, sustainability, holistic student development, and promoting adaptability. Because by doing so, we will not only prepare our students for the unpredictable future but also enable them to contribute positively to the advancement of society and the betterment of our world.
How is your relationship with the students of your college?
My relationship with my dear and ambitious students is characterized by genuine care, active engagement, and a commitment to their holistic development. And to make this relationship more strong and long-lasting, I have been regularly fostering an environment where their voices are heard, their talents are nurtured, and their aspirations are supported.
Apart from this, I strive to create a community that is empowering, inclusive, and transformative for each and every student.
Any suggestions which you would like to give to your aspiring students and current youths?
I would like to advise my dear students and aspiring youths of our society to keep learning new things and focus on their studies whole-heartedly. Along with this, find such work opportunities which align with your interest, passion and skills. Also, don't follow peoples' negative thoughts, beliefs or culture and instead become the inspiration and role model for others.
Other than this, be proactive, self-starter, quick learner, and a self-motivator, and don't have the fear of taking risks, instead try thousands of ways and come up with the best version of yourself. And don't be disappointed when none of them work, because success demands dedication, sincere commitment and hard work.
