Hyderabad, December 10, 2018: GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad Student Chapter Charaiveti (Campus Connect – Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari) will organize a two-day National Seminar on ‘Science, Society and Spirituality: Emerging Perspectives’ at its campus on February 5-6, 2019.

The seminar focuses on how technological developments can contribute better to the improvement of the society if they are rooted in spirituality. The seminar gives ample scope for discussion on certain major aspects that impact our life and thinking, both individually and collectively.

Papers are invited from students, researchers, teachers, and other professionals in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Sanskrit languages. Paper presenters are expected to present their views on how this idea can be realized on any one of the following areas: Role of science in combating superstitions, Impact of technology on health, lifestyle and relationships, Leveraging technology for social good, Concept of happiness index – myths & facts and Scientific perspectives of spirituality.
