20th February 2018, Hyderabad: University Grants Commission (UGC) – Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) Consortium for Scientific Research, Mumbai has been sanctioned a major research project to Dr. P.V.Nagendra Kumar, Assistant Professor, as a Principal Investigator, Department of Chemistry, School of Technology (GST), GITAM, Hyderabad (Deemed to be University).

The project is entitled as “Studies on lanthanides, actinides (U and Th) and toxic elements using nano-particle based solid adsorbents and neutron activation analysis (NAA)”. It is in collaboration with Radiochemistry Division, BARC, Mumbai under the guidance of Dr. Raghunath Acharya, Head, Nuclear Analytical and Accelerator Chemistry Section, Radiochemistry Division and Dr. Raghumani Singh. The duration of the project is 3 years.

The Principal Investigator (PI) required a Project Fellow, who possess Master’s degree in Chemistry with at least 55% marks.
