Lexicon Mile, Pune recently organized a webinar on Turning Adversity to Advantage, which aimed to disseminate information to the students that how to turn situation in your control. The webinar was hosted by Mr. Sanjiv Goswami. In this informative session, which included interaction with the students, Mr. Sanjiv emphasized about the kind of adversaries or challenges we are facing today. “These are very different from the adversity we faced earlier. Adversity is a measure of your ability to go through a rough path in life and come out without losing your mind.”

He advised student to try to learn new skill  to make themselves more effective. He also focuessed on building a right attitute to be successful, which will give a positive direction to life. Additionally, he asked students to remain healthy both mentally & physically. Make a clear vision. Keep high spirit. This helps to develop a positive framework of mind.

In a recent webinar hosted by Lexicon MILE, Pune revolved around the career aspects in the Entertainment Industry. The webinar was hosted by DJ Akhtar who shared his knowledge and gave valuable suggestions. He answered the questions put up to him by the students and described his experiences and how students have to decide which domain they want to be in . He emphasised on the fact that Entertainment industry is growing tremendously and has opened up doors for opportunity. Talking about the obstacles for the students, he said ” They have to be self motivated. They have to be prepared for the late night works, odd hours, ready to travel, ready to do odd jobs, there will be sleepless nights.” To make career particularly in Film Marketing, he shared “Marketing is 360 degree approach. Beat the film, Beat the Product.Join an organization or an advertisement company which is in film industry. Other aspect is Job creator. Being an entrepreneur. Create a marketing company and target them.”
