Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad, publishes every result on braou.ac.in. Students log in with the last 7 digits of the admission number. UG and PG students use separate result portals.
Revaluation registration usually closes about 15 days after a result. For the UG IV semester result, the last date was September 16, 2026. A student who misses this window cannot ask for a recheck of that exam.
Latest Update: The UG (CBCS) Semester 2 result link is now live on the exam results page. Revaluation registration for it is open till October 11, 2026. braouonline.in

What the BRAOU Marks Statement Shows?
The online statement shows the student name, admission number and course. It lists every subject code with marks and the pass or fail status. It is a provisional record, so students should keep it until the original memo arrives.
BRAOU Result Not Showing: Common Problems
Most login failures come from a few repeated mistakes. Students can fix them before calling the helpdesk.
- Wrong portal: PG, MBA and B.Ed (Special Education) results do not open on the UG portal.
- Full admission number entered: The portal accepts only the last 7 digits.
- Wrong semester selected: A III semester backlog result sits under Semester III, not the current semester.
- Blank page: The new portals do not load with JavaScript switched off.
Students whose result is still missing can call the BRAOU helpdesk on 1800 599 0101. They can also write to helpdesk@braou.ac.in with the admission number and exam month.
How to Apply for Revaluation After the BRAOU Result?

BRAOU Result 2026 FAQs
Ques. Is the BRAOU 6th semester result 2026 out?
Ans. The UG CBCS II, IV and VI semester exams were held in June-July 2026. The IV semester result came out on September 1, 2026. Students who appeared for the VI semester examination should keep checking braou.ac.in/result for the VI semester result link. The result may be published separately from the other semester results, so students should check the official result page regularly for the latest update.
Ques. Can BRAOU results be checked by name instead of admission number?
Ans. No. Every BRAOU result portal works only with the admission number. Students cannot check their result by entering their name alone. The admission number is required to access the result and marks details through the online result portal. Students who have lost their admission number can contact the BRAOU helpdesk for assistance.
Ques. What should a student do after failing a subject in BRAOU?
Ans. The student registers again for that paper when BRAOU issues the next exam notification for that semester. The required examination fee is paid online during the exam registration process. Students should carefully check the examination notification for the registration dates, applicable fee and other instructions before submitting the application for the failed paper.
Ques. Is the BRAOU online marks statement valid for jobs?
Ans. It works as a provisional record only. The online marks statement can be used to check and verify the marks obtained in the examination, but employers and universities usually ask for the original marks memo issued by BRAOU. Students applying for jobs, higher education or other academic purposes should therefore keep their original marks memo safely after receiving it from the university.
Ques. When is the BRAOU convocation in 2026?
Ans. BRAOU holds its 27th Convocation on October 7, 2026, at 11.00 AM. Degrees are awarded to students who completed their programmes. Students who are eligible to receive their degrees should follow the university's convocation-related instructions regarding participation, certificates and other formalities.
Ques. Where do MBA entrance test qualifiers go after the result?
Ans. Qualified candidates move to MBA and MBA (HHCM) counselling after the entrance test result. BRAOU posts the counselling notice on braou.ac.in. Candidates who qualify should check the official university website for information about counselling dates, registration, document requirements and other admission-related instructions.
Ques. Which is the official BRAOU website, braou.ac.in or braouonline.in?
Ans. Both belong to BRAOU. The latest result list sits on braou.ac.in, while some older services still run on braouonline.in. Students should therefore use the website relevant to the service they are looking for and preferably access result and examination updates through the latest links provided on the official BRAOU website.
