BRAOU Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Eligibility, Application Form
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), formerly known as Andhra Pradesh Open University is a state open university for higher education in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Established in 1982, BRAOU is the first open university to be established in India. BRAOU offers more than 50 UG, PG, PG Diploma, Certificate, and PhD programs in the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Education, Sciences, and Social Sciences with an annual enrolment of over 1 Lakh students. All the programs are recognized by UGC and the Distance Education Bureau (DEB).
Admissions at BRAOU for all UG and PG programs (except MBA and B.Ed) are based on merit (marks secured in the qualifying examination). MBA admissions are based on scores obtained in the TS/AP ICET or BRAOUMBA Entrance Test (BRAOUMBAET). The university also conducts an entrance test for admission to the B.Ed program. BRAOU admissions are conducted twice a year, i.e. January and July sessions. Registrations for the January session are usually conducted in the month of January-February and those for the July Session start in June every year.
BRAOU application forms are released online on the university’s official website - braou.ac.in. Interested students must submit the application form on or before the dates declared by the university. The registration fee for admission at BRAOU is INR 200 for all UG and PG programs. For the offline mode of admission, students must submit the application form to the nearest BRAOU study center. BRAOU UG Admission 2024
BRAOU offers BA, B. Com and B. Sc and B.Li.Sc courses at UG level. 10+2 is the minimum eligibility criteria for UG programs and Bachelor’s degree in the related discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria for B.Li.Sc. BRAOU MBA Admission 2024
BRAOU offers 2-year MBA General and MBA in Hospital & Health Care Management (HHCM) programs through the Department of Business Management. MBA is one of the flagship programs of BRAOU. The MBA Program is open to all citizens of India (both fresh graduates as well as in-service candidates). Candidates who have completed bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for admission. BRAOU admits students into the MBA program who appeared in the ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test for MBA & MCA) conducted by both the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh or Candidates who qualified in the BRAOUMBA Entrance Test (BRAOUMBAET) conducted by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University.

BRAOU B. Ed & B. Ed (Special Education) Admission 2024
BRAOU offers B.Ed (General) and B.Ed (SE) in various discipline for the duration of two years. The admission to these courses is based on B.Ed Entrance Test conducted by the university. The minimum eligibility criteria is a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.?
B.Ed Entrance Test will consist 100 MCQs for 100 marks. 25 marks for English Comprehension and 25 & 50 marks for Telugu Proficiency and Mental Ability respectively. B.Ed Test for Special Education will consist 40 marks for English Comprehension and 60 marks for Mental Ability & Reasoning.

BRAOU PG Diploma Admission 2024
BRAOU offers a one-year PG Diploma program in various specialisations. Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university are eligible for admission. The selection will be solely based on marks secured in the qualifying examination. The university does not conduct any entrance test for admission to PG Diploma programs.

BRAOU offers M.Phil & Ph.D. courses in various disciplines in full-time mode. Master’s degree in the cognate subject with at least 55% marks is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. Admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in the written test conducted by the university followed by an interview. The admission process only in apply in online and take printout and xerox coppies of your previous qualifications certificates to submitted in you choose your study centers. The degree course counducted CBCSE AND SEMESTER wise counducted and provided offline classes and online classes.
