Dr.L.Chinna Reddeppa has been working as Principal at Vignan College of Education, Nizampet, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Over the 20 years experience, he has started his career as a teacher to slow learners at Primary & High school level(4 yrs). He worked as Lecturer in Education(2 yrs), Assistant Professor(12 yrs), Associate Professor(1 yr) and presently as Principal (2yrs). In M.Ed. he taught the subjects of Philosophical, Psychological and Sociological foundations; Curriculum Development; Economics of Education; Environmental Education; Special Education; Yoga Education; and Human Rights and Value Education. Apart from teaching, he was instrumental in preparing the students to gain knowledge through practical experience; project based learning & monitoring; community participation; conducting seminars for internal assessment and continuous evaluation of students for enriching their teaching skills; and supervising students for preparation of their dissertations.In addition to that, organized exposure visits to students for interaction with the community to understand the issues of community awareness on development programs like health, education, welfare schemes, environmental concerns, identifying the needs of the community, social mapping, family survey, and understanding perceptions of people. Also, he was instrumental for selection of research themes, framing appropriate design & methodology; questionnaire preparation, data collection, tabulation; and finalization of reports. He taught M.Ed students at M.N.R. M.Ed., College, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. He has also served as Research Supervisor for 75 M.Ed Students and also worked as Project Incharge at MNR College.

Which program are you offering in your institute to help students stand apart from the crowd? What options are available for students to pursue courses in your college?

We are offering courses in the discipline of Education. Our college is offering a full-time B.Ed. course for two years. India is a highly populated country, and the requirement for teachers and faculty is very high. Our college offers guidance for employment, gives training for giving demo-cum lectures to teachers, training for administration as well as teaching jobs, coaching for CTET, SET DSE, etc.

How do you train yourself and faculty to deliver the program?

Faculty is consulted, staff meetings are held, team wise, project based training. Orientation will help the faculty to guide the students better.
