St Alphonsa's College of Education is the pioneer Institution in the field of teacher education. It is a full fledged college imparting one year full time programme in B.Ed. It was founded by a group of dedicated Christian educators of christan community and a few likeminded persons. The Christian society in 1988 was permitted to open B.Ed. College.
