Mr. Avneesh Yadav is the Managing Director at Kargil Shaheed Mahavidyalaya. He holds a Ph.D. at the doctoral level. He has over four years of experience in Academics. He has a substantial number of publications in reputed journals and is credited with the membership of several professional bodies across the nation.

You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

Passion is the key factor which actually makes me so connected. Passion is indispensable for learning and teaching facilitates learning through desire and enthusiasm it creates. After being in the field of education for more than 17 years, I believe that the Whole Child Education approach is a comprehensive and progressive method of education which can give a totally new and different meaning and thrust to the teaching-learning process by changing and reframing the policies and methodologies. Therefore, understanding that every child deserves to be healthy, happy and safe, engaged, supported and encouraged, challenged and empowered is the prerequisite for realizing the whole child education philosophy.

Being the Managing Director of Kargil Shaheed P.G. College,Etawah what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

As a Managing Director of kargil shaheed P.G. college, Etawah, Leadership philosophy is essentially a belief system that auricles our decision making our core principal, perspective and values. Change is playing an ever-increasing role in many organizations and the education sector in turn demands a change-oriented work environment too, So we can say that the good balance between the two management styles transformational leadership and participative leadership are well suited in the present scenario. Leading through examples, inspiration and engagement I always seek ways to get the best performance and potential out of each team member and at the same time I cultivate participation, empower team members and work directly alongside organizational members at every level.

Being the Managing Director of Kargil Shaheed P.G. College,Etawah, how do you strategy about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your College?

Our strategy about the key program and plans for the marketing administration that we held, some even like its quiz program, some sports activities, and some acculturation programs in our college.

The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

We can organize some seminar’s, video conferencing, lecture seminars with the foreseeing institutes. 

How does the curriculum of Kargil Shaheed P.G. College, Etawah ensure the best practice of industry?

Our College provides a curriculum with the best educated and extraordinarily qualified teaching staff.

What do you think should be the College’s top priority over the next ten years?

Top priority is that we provide medical facilities, medical education and medical courses for their bright future.

When you first came to Kargil Shaheed P.G.College, Etawah, what was your vision for the College? Has it evolved over time, and how far along in implementing that vision are you?

Our vision is that everyone be educated with our flexible fees instructed.

What would you like people to know about your College they may not know?

Apart from studies and cultural activities, we have enough infrastructure for sports activities. We have one of the best state-level stadiums having a capacity of 10,000 sitting and an excellent 400-meter athletic track. We had a spacious football ground where we hosted the Asian junior school football championship, which happened in India last year. Various teams from China, Iran, Singapore, Japan and many more participated with India. We think there is no need to know about our college if your college is doing well. It is automatically reached to every single person. We have three wooden-floored squash courts in our student activity center, only one more we have in the BHU campus in UP state. We have indoor badminton courts, table tennis, and multi-gym facilities. So our institution is the hub of learning, extracurricular, and sports activities where students have turnaround their personality, and today they are the team members of world-class companies, and many are UPSC rank holders.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see, both for higher education in general and for Kargil Shaheed P.G. College, Etawah specifically?

Higher education, in general, serves broader societal objectives. Higher education also serves a wide array of students with differing needs, resources, and capacities. A challenge in higher education counts many, but some of them can be narrated as: To find ways and means to reduce the cost burden on parents and increase the productivity of the education process. To find the best possible technologies on which online education can be given to the students as the testing time of COVID 19 progresses. To find excellent and efficient students in Higher education and make a smooth process run in hunting a talent matching role to cater to the needs of today's Industry. There are probably many solutions in New Education policy, so we hope and are confident enough that students will be benefitted at large.
