Shri Ravinder Tokas is the Chairman of Global Institute of Technology and Management, Gurgaon . He is a dynamic leader , visionary and lawyer by profession. He has a strong academic background, after completing his graduation in B. Tech. He pursued LLB and LLM from Delhi University. He is also a member of Bar Council of India. He is a charismatic personality with vision to develop standard educational institutions to deliver quality education in an excellent academic environment. The special focus areas of his efforts are extended to the disciplines of Engineering, Management, Computer applications and Pharmacy. He also has a charitable outlook and generous attitude towards meritorious and economically weak students through scholarship and financial support.

We have recently introduced new programs which will add value to our curriculum 

We started out our Pharmacy wing comprising B.Pharmacy & D.Pharmacy, recognized by Pharmacy Council of India and is affiliated to Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (PBDSU), Rohtak that’s successfully running from the last 4 years. Off late we have also introduced Diploma in Vocational Studies in –

  1. Diploma In: Software Development
  2. Diploma In: Production Technology
  3. Diploma In: Refrigeration And Air Conditioning
  4. Diploma In: Industrial Tool Manufacturing

The Diploma Program is recognized by AICTE and by Haryana State Technical Education Society.

Co-curricular activities are an integral part of our learning process that we give to our students

We completely realize that extracurricular activities are as important as book learning for students, since they get a practical learning experience by involving themselves in various events, clubs etc. Thus at Global Institute of Technology & Management we have numerous co-curricular activities that are conducted throughout the year. We have numerous Clubs and various other activities that are organized on a weekly basis. We have Robotics Club, Travel & Tourism Club, Music & Dance Club, Photography Club, El-Matador (Management Club), Sports Club and various other Technical & Non-Technical Clubs. 

Global is a brand that students trust when it comes to placement

We have close to 40+ MNCs that selected close to 500+ students in various verticals. We have almost all top companies in various domains who are being represented with us. Companies like Google, Amazon, IBM, HCL, TCS, DLF, L&T, Mahindra Automobiles, Honda, JCB, KPMG and Nestle are some of the major brands being represented in our campus for various corporate interventions in 2019. On an average 7LPA to 8LPA is the average package that is bagged by any Globalite who channelizes for on campus placement. Our highest package varies on YOY basis like this year it has been 22LPA in Technical Portfolio closely followed by 19LPA in Management Wing.

I have never seen my institution as a place. It is a home that motivates everyone who engraves their trust with us to do better in life and to grow in their individual hemisphere. The competent and qualified faculty are not in abundance which can improve the quality of education 

The greatest challenge persisting in higher education in India is the shortage of qualified and competent faculty. Most faculty lack quality in teaching, research and training. Other problems include outdated curriculum, pedagogy and assessment based on rote learning where students have little opportunities to develop a wide range of transversal skills, analytical reasoning and collaborative working which leads to low employability of the students. We also face a low Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) and no equity GER among different sections of society. But we must always remember Challenges are the precursors of new opportunities and realms.
