How do the courses of your institute ensure the future preparedness of students?

Our institution offers a special training named "Job Skills Inculcation Program" to our students for their skill development. Also, the amazing part of this training is that it runs concurrently with the academic calendar of II and III year of B.Tech. Program.

In addition to this, students get uncountable opportunities for hands-on experience and we have created such a wonderful learning atmosphere for them so that they feel more comfortable and confident about their abilities and exert better performance in advanced areas of their related subjects. Lastly, our college, with support of its Placement Cell, offers CRT programs for 3rd and final year students, by connecting with industry professionals and encouraging students to attend training programs and expand their knowledge in the related areas.

What strategies have you adopted for building an efficient work team on campus?

For the purpose of building an efficient work team on campus, we assign work to people as per their knowledge and experience. Also, we encourage everyone to collaboratively work as a team and keep the environment transparent for minimum conflict and troubleshoot the existing issues if any.

Apart from this, seniors are encouraged to lead by example and we never miss to appreciate the achievements of our teachers and students by offering them applause and awards.

What was the most challenging task that you faced in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?

The most challenging task in my career was to get admission in PhD, and continuing in spite of a teaching job, industry consultancy and family. And what I have learned between all this chaos is that nothing is impossible if we love what we do.

Being the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, since responsibilities are manifold, I have to be more active and knowledgeable to deal with deadlines of work. But hurdles don't feel like the one, as I get full support from the Faculty Members of our department as well as college management.
