The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the schedule and details for the online counselling process for the Stray Vacancy Round of the Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) for AYUSH programs in Bihar. This round, specifically for BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses, will facilitate admissions in both government and private AYUSH colleges within the state.

Key Highlights of the Bihar NEET AYUSH Stray Vacancy Counselling 2024

1. Choice Filling and Counselling Portal Registration:
   • Candidates are required to log into the “Online Counselling Portal of UGMAC (AYUSH)-2024” and complete the registration process.
   • Fresh choice filling is mandatory for the Stray Vacancy Round, as previous entries are no longer valid. Candidates must select their preferred courses and institutions based on the updated seat matrix.
2. Updated Seat Matrix:
   • The board has posted the latest seat matrix for the UGMAC (AYUSH)-2024 counselling on its website, allowing candidates to make informed choices based on the updated availability of seats.
3. Choice Locking:
   • Choices can be locked after OTP-based verification sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email. The “Unlock Choices” button allows candidates to modify their preferences before final locking.
   • If candidates fail to manually lock their choices, they will be automatically locked at the scheduled deadline. Once locked, choices cannot be altered.
4. Document Verification and Admission:
   • Candidates who secure seats in the Stray Vacancy Round must report in person for document verification and admission between November 18 and November 19, 2024.
   • Candidates who do not take admission or whose seat allotments are canceled due to discrepancies will not be eligible for further rounds of counselling.
5. Important Note:
   • Candidates currently enrolled in any AYUSH college in India (government or private) are not eligible for this round.

Documents Required for Verification

Candidates are required to present the following original documents at the time of verification:

• NEET (UG) 2024 Admit Card
• Rank Card for UGMAC (AYUSH)-2024 Stray Vacancy Round
• Printout of the Choice Slip and Provisional Allotment Order
• Passing certificates and mark sheets for Matric and Intermediate exams
• Domicile Certificate for Bihar, Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Six passport-sized photographs matching the NEET (UG) 2024 admit card
• Aadhaar card and other necessary documents as specified in the UGMAC (AYUSH)-2024 Prospectus

Candidates are encouraged to review the fee structure for private AYUSH colleges on the BCECEB website, as the board is not responsible for any discrepancies. The course-wise and college-wise fees are accessible on both the BCECEB and respective college websites.
