AP PGECET Counselling 2023 Process
The AP PGECET counselling process is an important step for both GATE/GPAT and AP PGECET-qualified candidates. The authorities conduct separate counselling sessions for each category. Candidates who qualify for the AP PGECET exam 2023 are eligible to participate in the counselling process.
The process involves various important steps, including fee payment, reporting at the designated centres, document verification, and choice filling. The seat allotment for AP PGECET 2023 will be based on merit, seat availability, and the choices made by the candidates.
AP PGECET Counselling 2023: Steps for Registration & Document Verification
Step 1: AP PGECET Registration & Fee Payment
Candidates must log in to their accounts using their hall ticket number and rank. Upon successful login, a non-refundable fee of INR 1000 (INR 600 for SC/ST) must be paid online. Keep the transaction ID safe for future reference.
Step 2: Reporting at Centres
After fee payment, candidates should report to the designated document verification centres. They need to provide their AP PGECET 2023 rank card to the authorities.
Based on the AP PGECET rank, candidates will be invited to show their processing fee payment receipt or transaction ID.
Step 3: Document Verification
Candidates must undergo document verification and present the following documents:
- Hall ticket of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2023.
- Rank Card of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2023.
- SSC, Intermediate, Diploma/Degree Marks Sheet.
- Study Certificate from Class 10th to Graduation.
- Integrated Community Certificate for BC/SC/ST candidates.
- Residence certificate (father or mother) for a period of 10 years in Andhra Pradesh, excluding the period of their employment outside.
- Residence certificate for preceding 7 years from the qualifying exam (i.e. Graduation) for candidates with private study without institutionalized education (Aadhar card/ Household card).
- Transfer Certificate.
- Income Certificate (if claiming fee exemption)/ Household card (white)/ Ration Card.
It should be noted that upon document verification, candidates will receive a receipt and a login ID on their registered mobile number.
Step 4: Choice Filling
To begin the seat allotment process, candidates must generate a login ID and password by providing their registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth.
After logging in, an OTP will be sent to their registered mobile number, which they can use to select their preferred colleges/institutes and courses. It is advised to choose as many options as possible to enhance the chances of admission.
Step 5: Seat Allotment
In the final step, AP PGECET Seat Allotment will take place. Seats will be allocated to candidates based on merit, seat availability, and their filled choices.
Candidates need to download the AP PGECET seat allotment letter and report through a self-reporting system. They are also required to report to the allotted colleges/institutes; failure to do so will result in the cancellation of seats.
