NTRUHS has announced Free Exit for Phase 1 PG Seats under CQ and MQ. The free exit window will be open till December 14, 2024, 3 PM.

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, has issued a notification on the Free Exit provision for candidates allotted Phase-1 PG medical seats under the Competent Authority Quota (CQ) and Management Quota (MQ) for the academic session 2024-25. The free exit window for AP NEET PG Counseling will be open till December 14, 2024, 3 PM.

Free Exit Schedule

Event Date & Time
Resignation for Free Exit starts December 13, 2024 (10 AM)
Resignation for Free Exit ends December 14, 2024 (3 PM)

Eligibility for Free Exit:

  • Candidates allotted PG medical seats under State Counselling (both CQ and MQ) in Phase-1 can avail the Free Exit option.
  • This option allows candidates to join AIQ Round-2 counselling.

Procedure to Avail Free Exit:

  • Candidates must:
    • Visit the allotted college to resign from the Phase-1 seat.
    • Submit a signed undertaking (as per the annexed format).
  • College Principals are responsible for:
    • Entering the resignation in the college login system.
    • Freezing the data by 04:00 PM on December 14, 2024.
    • Emailing a signed copy of the reported/not-reported and resigned candidates list to the University at appgadmissions2021@gmail.com.
  • The original certificates and fees paid must be returned to candidates who resign.

Important Notes for Candidates:

  • Free Exit must be utilized strictly within the stipulated timeline.
  • Once the Free Exit option is exercised, the vacated seat is:
    • Irrevocably forfeited by the candidate.
    • Included in Phase-II counselling as a vacant seat.
  • Candidates who resign are eligible for Phase-II counselling, subject to eligibility.

Restrictions and Penalties

  1. No Extensions:
    • The Free Exit deadline will not be extended under any circumstances.
  2. Prohibition on Dual Reporting:
    • Candidates cannot report for both AIQ and State Quota simultaneously.
    • Severe penalties, including possible disqualification, will be imposed on violators.
  3. Legal Binding:
    • Incompletely resigned processes will be declared Null & Void, which will disqualify the candidate from availing Free Exit..

Vacancy Handling Post Free Exit

  • The vacancies generated due to Free Exit will be automatically covered in the Phase-II counselling process.
