National Law University (NLU) Delhi has revised the syllabus for All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2024 for admission into BA LLB, LLM, And PhD programs. The exam will be held on December 10, 2023. Check the full details here!

AILET 2024 Syllabus Revised for BA LLB, LLM

NEW DELHI: NLU Delhi has made some changes in the syllabus of AILET 2023 (All India Law Entrance Test) for admission to BA LLB, LLM, and PhD courses. Candidates can check the revised syllabus on the official website of NLU at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

As per the revised AILET 2024 Syllabus, the AILET BA LLM Question Paper will include 100 objective-type questions and there will be no descriptive-type questions. Candidates are advised to carefully review the revised syllabus before starting their preparations. 

AILET 2024 will be conducted in offline mode on December 10, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Candidates can register for the exam by submitting their applications by November 13, 2023. NLU Delhi will issue the admit cards for all registered candidates on November 20, 2023. 

AILET 2024: BA LLB Exam Pattern

The AILET 2024 exam for admission into BA LLB course will be held in three sections with 150 MCQs and 150 marks. The exam will be held for a duration of 120 minutes and for each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

AILET 2024: LLM & PhD Exam Pattern

For LLM Program, AILET 2024 question paper will have 100 Multiple Choice Questions with one mark per question. For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks and questions will be from the law background. The exam will be held for a duration of 120 minutes.

AILET 2024 exam for admission into PhD programs will also have 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark. Out of 100 questions, 50 will be from the domain of Research Methodology and 50 from different branches selected by applicants.

For PhD in law, the remaining 50 questions shall be from the branch of law; for PhD in social sciences, these 50 questions shall be from the branch of social sciences. Candidates who are foreign nationals and hold a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) need not attempt the AILET exam.
