AIIMS Deoghar PhD Admissions January Session 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following academic requirements:

• Non-Medical/Life Sciences: Applicants should hold a Master’s degree (M.Sc./M.V.Sc./M.Tech) in subjects like Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Biotechnology with at least 55% marks.
• Social Behavioral Sciences: Candidates with an MA/M.Sc. in Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, or Public Health (MPH) with 55% marks are eligible.
• Nursing: A Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Nursing with at least 60% marks and valid registration is required.
• Mandatory Fellowship: Candidates must have qualified for a National Entrance Test (such as CSIR-UGC NET JRF, ICMR-JRF, or DBT-JRF) and possess a valid fellowship for the next three years.

Admission is based on a Personal Interaction with the Interview Selection Board and a Department-based assessment. In case of a tie in scores, the older candidate will be given preference.
