Candidates who already hold seats from AIIMS 1st or 2nd rounds are ineligible to participate in the Open Round.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has officially released the schedule and detailed process for the Open Round Counselling for B.Sc. Allied & Health Care courses (formerly known as Paramedical courses) for the academic session that began in August 2025.
The last date for registration and choice filling @aiimsexams.ac.in is Sept 18, 2025, and the Seat Allotment Result will be out on Sept 23, 2025. This round is crucial for candidates who were not allotted seats in the earlier rounds or who wish to upgrade their previously allotted seats.

AIIMS ParaMedical Open Counselling Process 2025
The AIIMS Paramedical Open Round Counselling Process 2025 details the admission procedure, including eligibility verification, online registration, choice filling, and seat allotment. The process ensures fair, merit-based allocation while strictly following category-wise vacancy rules and reporting requirements.
Step 1: Eligibility and Registration
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Must have appeared in the B.Sc. Allied & Health Care (Paramedical) Entrance Examination 2025 was held on July 13, 2025.
- Must have obtained the minimum qualifying marks and have their roll number listed in Result Notification No.115/2025 dated July 18, 2025.
- Candidates who have been allocated seats at any AIIMS during the 1st or 2nd round of seat allocation and are currently holding those seats are not eligible for the Open Round of allocation.
- Registration Process:
- Eligible candidates are required to log in to their candidate dashboard and click on the Open Round of Seat Allocation link.
- The link for the portal will be activated for eligible candidates on MyPage, accessible by logging in using the credentials used for filling the Final Registration form and other processes related to AIIMS Entrance Examination for the session 2025 at www.aiimsexams.ac.in.
- Upon clicking the link, candidates will be directed to the online B.Sc. Allied & Health Care Seat Allocation portal, where they will have to register for online seat allocation and set a new password. This password is only for accessing the online B.Sc. Allied & Health Care Seat Allocation portal.
Step 2: Choice Filling and Security Deposit
- Choice Filling:
- After registration, candidates can access the online Seat Allocation portal to submit and prioritise their course choices. The portal will remain open only for the specified period.
- On logging in, confirm your name and candidate ID. Click on the "Make Choice" button to proceed to exercise choices (AIIMS) & subject and their order, and submit.
- Security Deposit:
- Candidates are required to deposit an amount of INR 5,000 through electronic mode as a security deposit on the link available at the candidate's MyPage.
- It is advised that candidates make payment from their own account or their parents'/relatives' account because the refund will be made to the same account.
- The security deposit is refundable in case of non-allocation of any seat. It will only be forfeited if a candidate has been allocated a seat at any AIIMS and did not join on the given date.
Step 3: Seat Allocation
- Eligibility for Seat Allocation:
- Only candidates who have registered in Step 1 and deposited the INR 5,000 security deposit in Step 2 will be eligible for seat allocation in the Open Round.
- Seat Allocation Process:
- Based on the choices exercised by the candidates, the result of the Open Round of seat allocation will be declared.
Step 4: Acceptance and Reporting
- Seat Acceptance:
- Candidates will be mandatorily required to accept the allocated seat in the open round of online seat allocation.
- Reporting to Allotted AIIMS:
- Candidates must report to the allotted AIIMS campus for document verification and fee submission as per the schedule mentioned above.
AIIMS ParaMedical Counselling Process 2025 - Documents Required
Candidates allotted a seat must produce the following original certificates at the time of reporting:
- AIIMS Admit Card issued for the Entrance Examination.
- Open Round Registration Slip.
- Offer Letter.
- Seat Allocation Letter.
- 10th Certificate (Date of Birth) and 12th Certificate/Mark-sheet.
- Migration Certificate (if applicable).
- Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) as per Central Govt. format, if applicable.
- Benchmark Disability Certificate, if applicable.
AIIMS ParaMedical 2025: How Seats Are Allocated Across Categories
- The Vacant Seat position will be uploaded on the website in due course of time. However, the number of seats may change at the time of online seat allocation.
- Seat allocation will be strictly based on entrance exam rank/merit and other eligibility criteria as per the Prospectus 2025.
- Candidates who did not submit valid OBC/EWS certificates in the 1st & 2nd rounds (considered UR) may email their certificates to paar.aiims.bscmsc@gmail.com.
- If a candidate is found ineligible for OBC/EWS after verification, they will be treated as UR if within the UR cut-off; otherwise, they will not be considered.
- Seat allocation order: UR → EWS → OBC/SC/ST.
- Vacant EWS/OBC seats are transferred to the UR category and offered on merit.
- SC/ST vacancies are transferred between SC & ST, and any remaining seats are offered to UR candidates on merit.
